Jelang Hari Raya Natal dan Tahun Baru 2024, Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai Tambahkan Dua Penerbangan Baru

BALIPORTALNEWS.COM, MANGUPURA – Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai menambah dua jadwal penerbangan menjelang periode Hari Raya Natal dan Tahun Baru 2024. Penerbangan baru di Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai yaitu satu penambahan jadwal domestik dengan tujuan Bali – Kupang menggunakan maskapai Air Asia serta satu penambahan rute internasional baru yakni Fuzhou – Bali dengan maskapai Xiamen Air. General Manager Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai – Bali, Handy Heryudhitiawan menyampaikan, momen penambahan kedua rute tersebut sangat tepat mengingat lalu lintas penerbangan pada periode Nataru cenderung meningkat. “Periode Nataru merupakan peak season dan pada periode ini, Pulau Bali menjadi salah satu destinasi pariwisata yang paling diminati oleh wisatawan domestik maupun internasional. Dengan penambahan rute tersebut, kami harap dapat semakin mendorong peningkatan lalu lintas penerbangan pada periode Nataru,” katanya. Indonesia Air Asia dengan nomor penerbangan QZ 632 terbang perdana dari Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai menuju Bandara El Tari Kupang pada Sabtu (16/12/2023) pada pukul 15.15 WITA dengan menggunakan tipe pesawat Airbus A320, mengangkut sebanyak 184 penumpang. Pesawat tersebut kembali mendarat di Pulau Bali dengan nomor penerbangan QZ 633 pada pukul 19.44 WITA, membawa 163 penumpang. Penerbangan Bali – Kupang ini dijadwalkan terbang tiga hari dalam seminggu, pada hari Selasa, Kamis dan Jumat. Kemudian pada Minggu (17/12/2023), maskapai Xiamen Air dengan nomor penerbangan MF 8657 rute Fuzhou, Republik Rakyat Tiongkok - Bali melakukan pendaratan perdananya di Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai pukul 00.28 WITA menggunakan pesawat tipe Boeing 737-800 Max dengan mengangkut 167 penumpang. Pesawat tersebut kembali terbang menuju Fuzhou pada pukul 01.51 WITA dengan nomor penerbangan MF 8658, mengangkut 177 penumpang. Penerbangan Bali – Fuzhou dengan maskapai Xiamen Air dijadwalkan terbang tiga hari dalam seminggu, pada hari Rabu, Jumat dan Minggu. Dengan bertambahnya rute penerbangan oleh kedua maskapai tersebut, hingga bulan Desember Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai telah melayani 20 rute domestik dengan dilayani 11 maskapai dan 37 rute internasional dengan dilayani 37 maskapai di sepanjang tahun 2023. Untuk rute Bali - Kupang, penerbangan dari Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai saat ini dilayani oleh maskapai Lion Air dan Air Asia. Sedangkan untuk rute Fuzhou – Bali,  sebelumnya pernah dilayani di tahun ini menggunakan charter flight oleh maskapai Sriwijaya Air pada bulan April hingga Juli dan saat ini dilayani secara reguler oleh Xiamen Air. “Kami ucapkan selamat kepada Indonesia Air Asia dan Xiamen Airlines atas penambahan rute terbarunya di Bandara Internasional I Gusti Ngurah Rai. Dengan bertambahnya rute oleh masing-masing maskapai, kami harap dapat meningkatkan konektivitas Pulau Bali dengan berbagai destinasi dalam negeri maupun mancanegara. Kami juga berharap penambahan ini akan memiliki dampak positif bagi pertumbuhan pariwisata di Pulau Bali, khususnya pada periode peak season Nataru,” ucap Handy.
