No soy muy fan de estos discos en los que se homenajea a un grupo o artista. Por norma general, y salva muy contadas excepciones, las canciones originales siempre son mejores. También es cierto que no se trata de mejorar el original y sí dar una visión diferente de una canción. Pero claro, cuando te enfrentas ante una revisión de los temas de Los Punsetes, lo haces con mucho recelo. Porque no…

Está a punto de llegar el tercer álbum de larga duración de AXOLOTES MEXICANOS y os traemos un último adelanto, el tercero después de “Amarre” y “Himawari”, un single de esos que dan calambres sólo con nombrarlo. AIKO EL GRUPO se ha unido a AXOLOTES MEXICANOS para regalarnos este “ROSAS y ESPINAS”, que es un banquete para los oídos de los amantes del punk-pop más salvaje y del pogo descontrolado. Y justo eso es lo que vemos en el videoclip dirigido por Gómez Selva (LOS CHIVATOS): a Olaya, Juan, Mario, Stephen y Lucas soltando sus buenas dosis de energía cuando Teresa, Lara y Bárbara invaden el escenario. A partir de ahí aparecen la explosión, la ira, la descarga y el cine de terror, que desembocan en un plano final que es tan “espiritual” que mejor no lo desvelamos. Vedlo vosotros mismos, es una gran aventura. Ambos grupos se caracterizan por su falta de prejuicios, por su electricidad desatada y por sus letras “radicalmente asertivas”, así que semejante unión tenía que acabar, otra vez, en una tormenta de alta tensión.

last song: expectedly, A mí ya me iba mal de antes by Aiko el grupo , due to the edit I was working on. Clutched an alright enough translation too. Honorable mention to Sayonara bye bye (vewn sped up version) which I recently found out it was somehow on Spotify and I gotta be careful with it because if I keep looping it my Spotify wrapped is going to say a guy named AnimeBiddies was my artist of the year.

last book: last one I remember was last year, I read a bit through Russia and the Golden Horde, a historical book.

last series: Bigtop burger (webseries, you can watch it on YouTube). Watched with the bestie who wanted to show it to me. Also before that Punch Punch forever, another web series. Ended up rewatching episodes of these on my own because I enjoyed them so much.

last thing I researched: panda bear dental formula —-> panda bear anatomy ——> panda bear pseudo thumb ——-> evolution to eat bamboo ——> red pandas also specialize in eating bamboo and also evolved a pseudo thumb to eat bamboo ——-> bear species ——> polar bear / brown bear hybrids ——> suspicious amount of those hybrids spotted in the wild ——> al lot of them come from the same same polar bear mother? ——> there’s a polar bear that’s been fucking fucking brown bear twinks (since brown bears are smaller I am taking the liberty of classifying her as a based small twink x big milf enjoyer)

favorite color: mustard yellow, tho I like to jokingly call it piss yellow. Lilac and pink are also up there. Overall love bright and pastel colors.

sweet / spicy / savory: sweet. horrible sweet tooth. Even though due to some teeth enamel issues some stuff causes me pain. I should eat more savory stuff tbh cuz it’s good for my pots bullshit but I am not that naturally drawn to it.

looking forward to: atlyss content update, flight rising st valentines event so we can get some new sweet lovecore items because I’m such a sucker for those, living on my own some day,

current obsession: sayonara bye bye vewn sped up version, the platonic concept of a livable apartment, trying to be more normalhead, stupid fucking pc, some stuff from the wakfu mmo and trying to write more of the liveblog for it… can someone beat me with a hammer so I can get into stuff with an actual active tumblrina audience. Lo de AIKO EL GRUPO no se puede explicar. Es un grupo incomparable. Su sentido del humor, su actitud irreverente y ausente de cualquier tipo de prejuicio, su cada vez mayor gusto por las melodías y los arreglos y su incombustible energía conforman una receta que da como resultado una propuesta irrepetible y única. Y su nuevo disco lo confirma. “Me están apuntando con un arma” son once canciones que se pasan en un suspiro y con las que podemos bailar enloquecidos, enfadarnos, reírnos y emocionarnos como adolescentes.
