Sebastian and Emerson watched with growing concern as their brother Remington's obsession with potatoes spiraled out of control. It all started innocently enough, with Remington bringing home a potato he named Henry and treating it like a pet. But soon, he began to believe that all potatoes were alive and sentient beings.
Remington spent hours talking to his potatoes, whispering secrets to them and seeking comfort in their silent presence. He refused to let anyone harm them in any way, becoming increasingly agitated and defensive whenever someone tried to take them away.
Sebastian and Emerson tried to reason with Remington, explaining that potatoes were just vegetables and not living creatures. But Remington wouldn't listen, his mind consumed by thoughts of Henry and the other potatoes he had collected.
As days passed, Remington's mental state deteriorated further. He would throw fits of rage whenever he didn't get his way, screaming and crying uncontrollably. He refused to sleep, claiming that the potatoes needed him to stay awake and keep them company.
Emerson, knowing that Remington suffered from insomnia, decided to take matters into his own hands. He held Remington down gently but firmly, while Sebastian administered a sedative to help him rest.
Carrying their brother to bed, Sebastian and Emerson tucked him in, their hearts heavy with worry. They knew that Remington's mental health was deteriorating rapidly, and they were at a loss for how to help him.
As they sat by Remington's bedside, watching over him as he slept fitfully, they vowed to do whatever it took to bring their brother back from the brink of madness. They would stand by him, support him, and love him unconditionally, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
For the bond between the brothers of Palaye Royale was unbreakable, and they would face any obstacle together, united in their love and determination to overcome the darkness that threatened to consume them.
I wrote this with Ai novel i actually like this 🖤❤️ also trigger warning for mental issues i love palaye royale 🖤❤️

I told one of those new fangled AI services that I wanted to write a novel based on “Dark Shadows”. This is how it responded!
The year is 1966. The place is Collinsport, Maine. The Collins family is one of the most wealthy and powerful families in the area, but they are also cursed. For generations, the Collins family has been haunted by the ghost of Josette duPres, a young woman who was murdered by her husband, Barnabas Collins.
Barnabas Collins is now a vampire, and he is determined to avenge Josette's death. He has returned to Collinsport, and he is slowly but surely taking over the family. He has already killed several members of the Collins family, and he is not stopping there.
The only person who can stop Barnabas Collins is his descendant, Quentin Collins. Quentin is a young man who is just beginning to learn about his family's dark history. He is also in love with a young woman named Maggie Evans, who is also a descendant of Josette duPres.
Quentin and Maggie must team up to stop Barnabas Collins before he can destroy the Collins family and Collinsport. They will need all of their strength and courage to defeat the vampire, but they are determined to save the ones they love.
The novel follows Quentin and Maggie as they race against time to stop Barnabas Collins. Along the way, they will uncover the dark secrets of the Collins family and the true nature of Barnabas Collins. They will also face many dangers, including the ghost of Josette duPres, a werewolf, and a group of witches.
In the end, Quentin and Maggie must make a choice: will they save the Collins family and Collinsport, or will they succumb to the dark forces that are trying to destroy them?
The novel is a dark and suspenseful tale of love, loss, and redemption. It is a story that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end.

Just read the first bit of a novel posted on Facebook. (Poster? novel-good.)
Best parts?
- not a care for keeping names, spelling, pov consistent. Who's that? What's the company? Gerald (spelled Gerald for now) has what happening in her body as he glares at Charlie?
- main character (Charlie) is a hated, spat upon "live in son in law" whose wealthy wife's family wants her to divorce because he asked the grandma for a Million Dollars at her Birthday Party to pay for the medical bills of the woman who saved his life in the orphanage.
- he and Clair (his wife) have been married for 3 years and Have Not Banged. His fuckstyle remains a secret. Just like his...
- trillion dollar empire-running grandfather who just reached out with a black Citibank credit card with two billion dollars credit, and a job offer for owner of the financial group that controls his in-laws fortunes, socially and financially.
I only need to download a sketchy app and look for file 0002 to read the full length novel.
It's tempting.

Well. I have a feeling I'm about to have a million new followers. (March 31st, 2025; not an April Fool's joke, unless Nanowrimo has very poor taste and timing)
youtube
Here's a link that explains in long video format the whole entire thing in detail:
youtube
and to sum it up:
This blog was made as an Anti-Generative AI to Nanowrimo, as well as a way to actually build a friendly, low-pressure, helpful community of aspiring writers, without the hard-fast-do-it-or-die pressure brought on by nanowrimo.
There is no official "contest" -- only a community coming together to inspire each other to write, help out with motivation by setting community goals, keeping participation motivation via Trackbear.app, etc!
The most popular writing challenge is still November for most people, but I myself have also started to keep a year-round, daily writing goal of 444 via the website 4thewords, which has been an extreme help in getting me to write a little at a time.
This year has been very hectic for everyone what with the election results so I haven't been very active on tumblr (I think everyone can understand that) but I was originally planning on also having each month of the year being a different themed writing / art challenge but got a bit distracted real life.
So, what is the Novella November Challenge?
It's a fun challenge where writers come together to write 30,000 (or your own personal writing goal!) words in 30 days, sharing tips, writing advice, plot ideas, accessibility aids, and committing to having fun while explicitly fighting back against Generative AI by using our own words and disavowing the use of scraping and generating to take away the livelyhoods of artists of all spectrums, and proving everyone who insists "generative AI is an accessibility tool" wrong by committing to our creative visions and making it easier for everyone to find the tools they need to succeed by sharing tips, free programs, and finding a like-minded community to support you! 💙
There is no official website, there is no required place to show your participation, this is a community initiative that will never be monetized by predatory sponsors or dangerous moderators abusing their power.
This blog is here to inspire everyone, regardless of experience level, to write and create the story they want to tell, in their own words, while striving to remain a fun, low-pressure challenge that doesn't turn into a stressful spiral, like often happened with Nano.
Want to start writing but not sure how? Don't have money to spend on expensive writing programs? Have no fear!
LibreOffice: An always free, open-source alternative to Microsoft Word (and Microsoft's other office suits)
4Thewords: A website (both desktop and mobile web browser) that syncs your writing cross platform to the cloud, with built-in daily word goals, streak tracking, and you can fight monsters with your word count to game-ify writing!
Trackbear: A website dedicated to tracking your writing, setting custom goals, and creating leaderboards for community participation; you can join the year-long community leaderboard with the Join Code "f043cc66-6d5d-45b2-acf1-204626a727ba" and a November-limited one will release on November 1st as well.
Want to use Text to Speech to dictate your novel?
Most modern phones have a built-in option available on your keyboard settings which can be used on any writing program on your phone, and most modern PCs that allow a microphone (including headphone) connection has some kind of native dictation function, which you can find by opening your start panel and searching your computer for "Speech to text" or "voice to text".
Want to write while on the go, but don't want to / can't use the small phone keyboard to type, or speech to text?
You can, for as cheap as $40, buy a bluetooth keyboard that you can pair with your smart phone or tablet and use to write in any and all writing applications on your phone -- this allows you to write on the goal (especially using cross-platform websites or services, like 4thewords or google docs) , and the small screen can also help minimize distractions by muting notifications in your writing time.

i'm really sick of people saying shit like "ai is the future!!" like by definition no it is not. ai is a plagiarism machine. ai is the blandest middle road you could imagine. ai is whatever has been said the most. "ai is the future" ai is the past. it's never going to be anything else

Writing is more than just stringing words together.
My writing is my blood, sweat, and tears. It's my desires, my interests, my fears. It's my dwindling sanity. It's sleepless nights, fueled by the need to get the words out. It's my heart pounding in my chest because of too much caffeine. It's typos because my shaky fingers miss the keys. It's doubt, uncertainty, as I give myself over to the process, wondering if I'll manage to live up to my own expectations. It's guilt, devastation, when I feel like I can't. It's strength, perseverance, when I continue regardless. It's accomplishment, pride, a rush, when I'm satisfied with the result. It's change because, just like the words, I, too, have changed, a part of me now inextricably tied to what I have created, forever left behind on the page, by the time I'm done.

WRITE NOVEMBER!
Because nanowrimo decided to allow AI bullshit this year, we’re saying fuck ‘em, and doing our own november writing prompts!
November is still national (novel) writing month, but we say NO AI IN ART OR WRITING!! Join us saying No to ai in writing with No-AI-November, and do WRITE NOVEMBER this year, instead!
HOW IT WORKS: You can write as you normally would, set word count goals, work on your novel, your fanfics, or just writing scenes you want to write throughout November. You can optionally choose from the list of weekly themes, or daily prompts as you’d like, for inspiration.
REBLOG THIS POST, & USE THE TAGS: ‘write November’ ‘novel November’ or ‘no-ai-November’ as well as any other writing tags you feel appropriate.
Feel free to use either of the images above, when posting writing. Use this post or make your own to post your writing goals, and any work you want to share!
Let’s Write! ✍🏼 💻
