finishing prey (2017) and realizing how ahead if its time it was about genai without even knowing about it yet. the entire concept of neuromods is stolen talent. you can map out a specific part of the person's brain (like a pianists ability to play, an artists ability to draw) and literally inject it into someone else. in the lore, most of the time it leaves the person who the talent was taken from horrifically ill and some even die! ALSO if the neuromods are ever removed you dont' get to KEEP the talent, you're reverted back to the state of mind and period of time before you even got the implants.

the game even comments on what will happen to the world when these are released worldwide. what will happen to those who can't afford to buy them to keep up. so many people will lose their jobs and be replaced with people who are able to 'buy' talent
