On the topic of you mentioning if we could imagine McKraken as a father in that other post,,,maybe? Would he be good at it at first? The answer is probably shell no. Go figure the one time he bothers to entertain the presence of a human (Enma knows how this kid's able see him,,) he happens to get attached. Unfortunate.

yeah, i do! I have three, Ushio, Starbin, and a human that I dont have a name for yet (A.K.A. the annoying seven year old McKraken has to put up with LOL), but the only one I've drawn is Ushio! sadly i dont have much ideas for the other two besides what ive already said but they will eventually have designs and stories and stuff.

for now, i'll just talk about Ushio.

So Ushio is a Rank A Yo-Kai of the Mysterious Tribe, her Attribute being Water. The name "Ushio" in Japanese means "Tide", so I thought making her Attribute water would fit better. Originally she was going to be a Pokemon oc, but I needed a Yo-Kai Watch oc so uhhh yeah! I actually have her ref right here :>

I tried with the design, but I was tired, okay?

I was thinking she spends most of her time by the ocean, where she died in her human life. Yes we are getting into the lore, now.

As Ushio is literally an oc to ship with Venoct (BIG WHOOP), I decided to have Ushio at least have something to do with the big fight thing with Rubeus J. I was thinking at one point Rubeus was about to strike Ushio or something (I HAVENT THOUGHT OF THE ENTIRETY OF IT IM SORRYYYYY) I think from the strike Ushio probably got knocked into the ocean, unable to swim, as she just slowly sinks into the water. She eventually comes back as a Yo-Kai or something, hoping to hunt down Rubeus before he attacks again. Except she's a lot less... vigilant than Venoct is, so she actually makes time to talk to Cadin and Jibanyan.

Anyway, that's about all the ideas I have for Ushio.

If you have any ideas for Starbin or the Annoying 7-Year Old McKraken Has To Put Up With™ i'd love to hear them!

i actually had to do some digging so i'd know how the attributes work, and then i said "WHY NOT MAKE USHIOS WHOLE THEME BE BASED AROUND THEIR DEATH" so uh yeah there we go. thats what i was kinda going for, actually. Ushio's trying to forget their death then they remember water and theyre like AAAAAAAA

i actually almost drowned once! i was saved by my dad but that was a scary time. i kinda base some moments of stories off of actual things that happen in my life sometimes

yeah, i think mckraken would make a pretty bad father figure at first, but i can see him being at least SOMEWHAT a OK father figure?? just a bit, but i guess its like a situation where now he just feels bad if he just destroys the kid because remember "itll be so much better if you put up a fight" and this kid has no way of fighting or protecting themself. uhh also i havent quite figured out who the kid can see yo-kai but trust me im working on it.

i may have taken a little bit of inspiration from that kid who appears in ykw1 after you beat mckraken, its not lucas, but its the kid whos seen at the room where you first fight mckraken. i think it says something along the lines of "aw man its gone" or something.

i just assumed mckraken disappeared like the other boss yo-kai. although it is possible he died, but im not so sure, yet. but yeah its pretty sad for hooman

what if the kid is just casually off to the side watching mckraken's fights with nate/katie, eating a nom-burger or something to keep them occupied so they dont interfere and end up getting hurt? thatd be funny i think
