Atlas Corps Fellowship for Communications & Digital Marketing Professionals
The Atlas Corps Fellowship engages global professionals committed to social impact in 12-18 months of service with organizations in the U.S. to learn best practices, build organizational capacity, and return home to create a network of global leaders. Application Deadline: July 30, 2023. Atlas Corps is accepting applications from communications and digital marketing professionals to be considered for the Fellowship. Fellows will develop their skills by serving at mission-driven organizations to create engaging content, manage social media, and develop marketing campaigns to increase visibility and engagement. These Fellows will also support the Atlas Corps mission of strengthening U.S.-based organizations by contributing their international perspective and expertise to advancing social impact goals. Candidates may use their skills and expertise in one or more of the following areas: Brand and Social Media Management: Managing social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram; updating the website; developing a communications calendar; and creating a communications and engagement plan to increase brand visibility. Content Production & Graphic Design: Writing blog and social media posts; creating graphics for the website and social media; producing short videos; and designing communications products such as brochures, one-pagers, newsletters, factsheets, and the annual report. Digital Marketing: Executing digital campaigns through email, paid ads and social media; cultivating email lists; implementing audience targeting methods; tracking and analyzing communications metrics to ensure effective messaging; and creating digital toolkits. Public Relations: Identifying press outlets; conducting press outreach; writing press releases; and gathering and amplifying press stories relevant to the organization. Eligibility Requirements Candidates for this fellowship must have a college degree, be highly proficient in English, be no older than 35, and be committed to applying their experience in their home country or region after the program. Candidates should also have two years of experience in communications and digital marketing. Desired Eligibility Criteria: Applicants do not need to possess all of the desired eligibility criteria. However, competitive candidates for this opportunity will meet some of the preferred eligibility criteria. Soft Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; - Ability to think creatively; - Organizational and time management skills; - Detail-oriented; - Multitasker with the ability to manage several processes simultaneously and prioritize; - Team-builder with the ability to comfortably work across teams and departments with people from around the world, as well as an ability to work with different working styles; and - Flexibility, open-mindedness, and tolerance for uncertainty and risk. World Trade Organization Young Professionals Programme 2024 - Call for Applications
The World Trade Organization (WTO) is looking for talented, highly qualified and dynamic individuals to join the 2024 Young Professionals Programme (YPP). A call for applications is now open for the programme, which aims at providing young professionals with an opportunity to develop their skills and gain experience in the field of international trade. Launched in 2016, the Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is a technical assistance programme overseen by the WTO’s Institute for Training and Technical Co-operation and funded by the Global Trust Fund. It is part of the WTO Secretariat’s efforts to increase diversity and broaden the members’ representation. The selected young professionals are allocated to a specific division of the Secretariat in accordance with the needs and priorities of the organization and based on the areas of interest of the young professionals. The candidates spend a year in the Secretariat learning about the organization’s work and contributing to its activities. The YPP is a unique opportunity for young professionals to gain valuable hands-on experience. YPP alumni have gone on to hold positions in international organizations (including the WTO), national governments and the private sector, working in the field of multilateral diplomacy and global trade. Requirements - Candidates up to the age of 32, as of 1 January 2023, from eligible countries are invited to submit their applications. - Candidates must also meet the other requirements of the programme. - The selected candidates will work at the WTO Secretariat for one year, starting in January 2024. - Applicants must be citizens from developing and least-developed countries (LDCs) and members of the WTO. Duration One year without possibility of extension. Remuneration and benefits Participants under the programme receive a monthly salary of CHF 3,500. The WTO also provides appropriate medical cover and travel costs. Our trainers will teach you all you need to know about jump-starting your business. Step 2: Intensive coaching and National Finals The Boot Camp is followed by a period of intensive coaching. You’ll perfect your pitch, value proposition and business model. After that, you’re ready to rock your National Final where you’ll pitch digitally for a National Jury. Step 3: Regional Finals The top teams of each country go to the Regional Finals where they pitch in front of the region’s best and brightest.
