I'd never heard of The Aerovons (St. Louis, Missouri) until seeing a Grapefruit Records compilation reviewed by Tim Sendra. I looked on Grapefruit to find the release but couldn't find it, so I started to do some Bandcamp searching. I found this compilation on CD, but on Discogs I noticed there was an original test pressing of "Resurrection" on The Beatles own label, Parlophone in 1969. It was never issued until 2003. In 2016, Euclid Records reissued it for Record Store Day.

Yes, this sounds like The Beatles, but it also has traces of The Beach Boys, Jeff Lynne/ELO, Badfinger, and The Dukes of Stratosphear. And there were times I thought I was listening to a new release from The Lemon Twigs. This just doesn't sound like something that would have come out of St. Louis, Missouri in 1969.

“She was a pioneering pilot and the first woman to be awarded RAF wings. By the time Second World War broke out in 1939 Bird was an experienced pilot. She was commissioned into the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) as Assistant Section Officer (ASO) in 1940 and remained there for a year until invited to join the ATA. She served with the ATA until the organisation closed down at the end of the war. In 1949, she was commissioned into the Women's RAF Volunteer Reserve. She became the first woman ever to wear the flying badge of an RAF Pilot: the 'Wings'. She was awarded her wings, amid some publicity, at Redhill Aerodrome on 20 September 1952. By the time she qualified, Bird had 3,000 hours in more than 90 different types of aircraft. The next target was to gain membership of the all-male RAF Club in Piccadilly. Pilot Officer Bird's application was apparently successful, but membership was rejected when this officer's gender was discovered. When the Cold War started, she was one of 16 women to join the RAF Club. Bird's main occupation in the 1950s was in the developing field of photographic aerial survey, working for Meridian Air Maps. On 29 April 1957, she was surveying the proposed route of a new road, when her 'Aerovan' twin-engined freight plane crashed and she was killed.”

Now our view backs away from the monitor, as we see a trinity monitor set running hacking codes. Then, a woman comes into frame, as she types away lines of codes into the Intermind neurospace network. It is EXODUS YOUNG , the GREEN ROOK

Have you isolated where the connection is coming from?

GREEN ROOK

There's a dozen sources. He's renetworking his location through a web of Intermind neurospace centres

We're hot on his tail - get his location quick before he's able to disconnect from neurospace

I'm separating his connection relay from the renetwork codes he's running. GOT IT! (AS SHE SLAMS ON THE KEYBOARD)

The aerovan screeches in a left turn and races off as the sound of the engine revs. The camera zeros in on the server rack behind the trinity monitors, phasing through the servers and into the CPU. Then hundreds of light circuits channel out as they spread through the chip. Then the light circuits transition into digital pixels as those transform into the Intermind neurospace. We are flying through a skyway in a city 'til the pixelations become lifelike. We fly through the skyway bypassing Queen's Park down to Chinatown. Now our view is on top of buildings, as we see a person running through the rooftops of Chinatown. He is going southeast crossing adjacent buildings. Then the camera slows down, 'til we see a woman following the target

He's going south on Spadina

It is the same voice from earlier. MOSIAH NIGHTINGALE is her name: the RED BISHOP

Also a voice from earlier. It is CORINTHIAN BOWER , the WHITE CASTLE . THEY LEAPT THROUGH ROOFTOP AFTER ROOFTOP - 'til THE TARGETED MAN EYES a streetcar coming down towards Queen. Now we see his face, it is ZACHARIAH HAN . He speeds up, gaining momentum for the jump. Then HE LEAPT FROM THE BUILDING - ROLL LANDING on the streetcar. The streetcar crosses Queen - going south on Spadina. Then we see THE RED BISHOP JUMPS DOWN TAGGING A POLL SHE USES TO SLIDE DOWN TO STREET VIEW. Once she is on the ground - she continues to race down following the streetcar. The WHITE CASTLE follows - JUMPING DOWN onto a car stopping at the light on Queen. HE LANDS AND ROLLS DOWN ON THE CAR. They race down Spadina following ZACHARIAH who is still on the streetcar. Then the streetcar turns left as it reaches Lakeshore. The RED BISHOP runs, crossing Spadina, JUMPING AND SLIDING over CARS - as the WHITE CASTLE comes ahead of her running on the sidewalk. He jets left in a wind - crossing traffic. The streetcar nears Maple Leaf Quay - as ZACHARIAH LENGTHENS HIS STRIDES AND JUMPS into the lake. The WHITE CASTLE follows - JUMPING FEET FIRST into the lake. But the RED BISHOP STOPS , seeing the man they are following, dropped a flash drive on the ground. She PICKS it up, then RADIO in to the GREEN ROOK who is still speeding in their aerovan

Now, in the aerovan, we see the computer beeping and a flash of red codes racing vertically up the screen

As she nears him, she reaches out her hand. He grabs on

They hear as they are being pulled down into the endless poor souls in the bottom of the lake. The WHITE CASTLE let out his last breath, then he awakes from suffocation on the network chair. A split second later, so does the RED BISHOP . Now, back in the real world in American lunar colonies. They breathe in fast breaths. Then, a moment later, the RED BISHOP gets up off the network chair and races for the computer
