Maj listened as Adara recounted her tale, putting his little scanning tool back into his pocket. His brows knit slightly by the end. It really seemed like his friend just hadn't thought in the long term with her decisions. When considering the wandering lifestyle she'd had up to this point, it made sense that she just..... hadn't. But she needed to.
"Well. I think first things first, you need to actually settle down somewhere nice and safe for you and your kids. Specifically a village, if we can find one. If not, at least a better place than in some random clearing in the woods."
Maj begins, starting to walk around the perimeter of the area and looking at the surrounding woods as he does. If for no other reason than to have something to do while he thought and spoke. Sure, Adara's control of fire could help her handle most opponents - and it didn't sound like she'd found any yet on this planet - but there were two children in the mix now. Two extra variables. Vulnerable ones. The alchemist knew all too well how badly things could go wrong-
"Next, you need to tell the other parent. He has that right to know there's pieces of him brought to life now. He could also help with the whole 'Not living in the woods by yourself' thing. Hnnn?"

"I?" Adara looked around, considering his words. Here were two young babies in what was pretty much the middle of nowwhere. She looked down at herself, as if regarding the less-than-stellar state early Motherhood had put her in for the first time.
Majic had basically put into words all the things she hadn't bothered thinking about.
"Oh, boy...." The flame woman sank down onto a stump, head in her hands. "I really just went for it without thinking, didn't I?" She glanced over at the babies. "They're gonna need a home, they're gonna need food, friends, and....." Her mouth flew open. "They're gonna need to go to school someday, too, aren't they?"
Her shoulders fell. "And, here I am. No job, no prospects, no formal education, bad example all around. I just...wanted to be a Mama!"
At the sound of their Mother's voice, the babies stirred a little in their sleep, but didn't waken.
Adara sighed. "Majick? Do you...have a gadget or something that can make a tent or a house? Just for a little while?"

"Alright....this definitely seems to be the place...."
The alchemist muttered as he concentrated on the little hand held device he held. It sounding almost like a Geiger counter as he watched the read out on the display.
"The energy read outs here are insane..."
He walks around, careful to not step on any of the tiny odd creatures he saw running around...

Majick let her talk, listening closely to Adara's explanation. He nods along.
"So....it's just your magically summoned fire that produces...results."
He has to resist the impulse to snap his fingers and produce a flame of his own green colored fire, not wanting to possibly cause something he couldn't take back on this alien planet he knew nothing about.
"So, how does the, uh father-"
He had to once more resist an urge, this time to call the Skeksis parent a "donor" -
"- play into all of this?"
Did the guy really know? Did he even agree?
"Also, why are you camped out in basic wilderness? What, are there no villages around here that'll accept alien single mothers?"
He can't help the last bit, especially as he continued to stare at the "crib" Adara was using. That chrysalis thing was handy, sure, but that was hardly a good permanent bed solution for the twins.

"Yeah. Just my magic fire. Maybe you should run some tests on that, sometime."
Majick's appearance here had been welcome. It still was. He was a smart man, he'd as questions the flame woman needed to hear.
...Even if...some of those answers made Adara realize, with a sinking in her gut, that maybe some of her current decisions weren't as thought-out as she'd believed.
"Maybe...I should start at the begining. C'mere, Life On Mars, time to take a nap with your sister." Adara retrieved the second twin, who seemed to know what she was supposed to do, since she immediately snuggled up next to Moon.
"He was there when I got here." The flame woman explained. "You know how I just end up places, right? He was out here, in the middle of nowwhere, just...trying to sing." She chuckled at that. "And, then he saw me, and shrieked loud enough to blow up a tree.
"But, he was nice, you know. For a shriveled-up, bird...person...thing. You know, I think he must be very old. I can't imagine someone starting out so wrinkly." She looked down at Moon. "Not like that. But, anyway...he was having trouble with his voice. Controling it, that is. Apparently, if he used it wrong, it destroyed things, so he'd stopped using it like it was supposed to be used for a long time. He was afraid of it, and...I guess that kinda reminded me of myself and my fire magic. I mean...I was never completely scared of my fire magic, but sometimes, I wonder what would've happened if I was.
"So...he'd visit sometimes, and I helped him." She looked over at Majic. "But, not like that! No I...took one of his feathers when he wasn't looking and mixed it with my hair, and the babies grew out of this thing." Adara gestured to the chrysalis the twins were currently snoozing in. And, she frowned. "He..doesn't know."
Another pause. "And...honestly, I've never seen anyone else out here besides him." This puzzled her, now that she thought about it.
