A lovely legionary (read: bitter and stubborn, but eventually lovely legionary) from an apocalyptic ancient thing I’m writing for fun. Perhaps this barbarian who saved his life will help him show that kinder and more protective side.

How do you think this thing does up? It's very fitted and over armour. So there has to be an opening somewhere.

I do not think it's the center front because there is an elaborate beehive in the way (I assumed either embroidered or applique + embroidery). Judging by the backs of other people in similar garments, it's not a back closure either. The little shield shape between his armpit and the beehive looks like an attachment point of a lance rest. It's not very clear as to if there is a riding slit in the front of the skirt panel.

Maybe the opening is under the arm on the side not in view (does lace up or close with hook & eyes)? Or maybe it closes like the square-necked coats of the 16th century? Like this ↓. Would that work on a round neck?

Unrelated note: According to this wiki the motto decorating his hem and armscye is "NON UTITUR ACULEO REX CUI PAREMUR" meaning "the King whom we obey does not use his sting."

Una dupla de buses Panamericana 5 Sur en San Bernardo entre bus de 2 pisos interprovinciales y rurales de Santiago. El bus es un Marcopolo Paradiso G7 1800 DD con el frontal de la New G7 en chasis de Volvo B450R de la empresa @busesaltascumbres.cl a comienzos del 2018 para recorrer las rutas de la Región del Maule como Constitución y Talca. Por otra parte, un Comil Pía de la empresa Buses Paine de la Región Metropolitana desde el pueblo hasta el terminal San Borja de Estación Central en donde se hace los recorridos rurales de distintas alternativas de Paine como La Paloma, Huelquen, Aculeo, entre otras rutas de la misma comuna. Ambos buses en la foto 1 venía desde Constitución hasta el terminal de Buses Estación Central en Santiago y la foto 2 viene este taxibus desde el sector de Paine hacía el terminal San Borja por la Panamericana de la Ruta 5 Sur en el Cruce Colón en San Bernardo. ACMED VS ACULEO

Ultimi residui degli anni '90 a Forlì. Dopo aver riempito i muri della città con la sua firma, la leggenda narra fosse stato beccato e costretto a pagare una multa salatissima, tramutata in pulizia degli stessi muri. Noi lo chiamavamo Acmed, in realtà si leggeva Aculeo. Nessuno sa chi fosse, ma ritrovare una sua tag sbiadita tra i vicoli del centro mi ricorda quando decisi di comprare una bomboletta e iniziare la mia carriera di writer firmandomi Daffy. Non feci nulla, se non la gigantesca scritta Punk not dead nel garage dei miei genitori. Fa schifo, ma c'è ancora.

Aculeo fue una laguna ubicada en la comuna de Paine, provincia de Maipo, Región Metropolitana, Chile. Se caracterizaba por tener riberas fangosas y porque sus costas no presentaban una inclinación pronunciada. En el último tiempo fue notorio el bajo nivel de sus aguas, producto de la sequía ocurrida en los últimos años. También se señalan como causas probables de la extinción de este cuerpo lacustre: el calentamiento global, y el uso no controlado de sus aguas. Su desaparición total se produjo el 9 de mayo de 2018
