MONTAŻ:
Pianka o gęstości 140 kg/m3 może zostać za pomocą kleju montażowego przyklejona bezpośrednio do ściany. Następnie na tak zamontowaną piankę wygłuszającą może zostać przyklejone wykończenie w postaci płyty kartonowo-giposowej, osb lub grubej tapety. Na tego typu maty akustyczne wykonane z pianki można również nałożyć siatkę tynkarską, a następnie gładź szpachlową.
Montaż pianki akustycznej o gęstości 140 kg/m3 jest prosty i nie wymaga posiadania skomplikowanych narzędzi.
Im większe arkusze pianki wygłuszającej montujemy tym izolacja jest bardziej skuteczna. Duża liczba łączeń pomiędzy mniejszymi arkuszami pogarsza parametry akustyczne izolacji (jeśli to możliwe należy ograniczać ilość łączeń). 
W razie konieczności piankę wygłuszającą możemy docinać samodzielnie za pomocą noża segmentowego stosowanego do cięcia tapet lub płyt GK.
Waga 2 m2 pianki akustycznej o gęstości 140 kg/m3 i grubości 4 cm to około 12 kg. 
Piankę o grubości 4 cm można w bezpieczny sposób zamontować do ściany za pomocą kleju bez konieczności budowy stelaża.
