Thu hồi 11 dòng thuốc bao tử chứa chất gây ung thư
Cục Quản lý Dược bắt buộc những cơ sở cung cấp thuốc đựng dược chất Ranitidine chỉ được dùng những lô vật liệu ko có tạp chất NDMA hoặc NDMA ko quá 0.32 ppm. NDMA là tạp chất có thể gây ung thư.
11 thuốc bị Cục Quản lý Dược thu hồi có hàm lượng Ranitidine 150 mg/10ml, 150 mg/25 ml và 150 mg, xuất xứ từ Ấn Độ, Tây Ban Nha, Italy, Anh, Thái Lan, Malaysia. Cụ thể là Aciloc 150 mg, Aciloc 300 mg, Apro-Ranitidine 150 mg, Zantac Tablets, Zantac Injection, Ratylno-150, Hyzan Tablet 150 mg, Neoceptin R-150 Tablet 150 mg, Vesyca film coated tablet 150 mg, Xanidine Tablet 150 mg, Zantac Syrup 150 mg/10 ml.
Trước đó, cơ quan công nghệ y tế Singapore (HSA), Cơ quan quản lý dược phẩm Thụy Sĩ (Swissmedic) cũng thu hồi 11 dòng thuốc này.
Ranitidine là thành phần chính trong những thuốc chữa bao tử và ruột.
Cục Quản lý dược cũng đề nghị các Sở Y tế địa phương giám sát việc thu hồi. Năm 2018 Cục Quản lý Dược đã thu hồi 57 loại thuốc chữa trị bệnh tim mạch cất hoạt chất Vasartan vì có NDMA.

Căn cứ thông báo của Cơ quan Khoa học y tế Singapore
(HSA), Cơ quan quản lý dược phẩm Thụy
Sĩ (Swissmedic) về việc thu hồi các thuốc chứa Ranitidine do phát hiện chứa tạp
chất N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) có
nguy cơ gây ung thư ở hàm lượng vượt quá ngưỡng cho phép của quốc tế.
Để đảm bảo
an toàn cho người sử dụng, Cục Quản lý Dược yêu cầu:

2. Yêu cầu các Công ty nhập khẩu thuốc:
a) Phối hợp với nhà phân phối thuốc thông báo thu hồi
tất cả các lô thuốc thành phẩm nêu
trên tới các cơ sở bán buôn, bán lẻ, sử dụng thuốc và tiến hành thu hồi toàn bộ
các lô thuốc này.
b) Gửi báo cáo thu hồi về Cục Quản lý Dược trong vòng
01 tháng kể từ ngày ký Công văn này, hồ sơ thu hồi bao gồm số lượng nhập khẩu,
số lượng thu hồi, các bằng chứng về việc thực
hiện thu hồi tại các cơ sở bán buôn, bán lẻ, sử dụng đã mua thuốc theo quy định
tại Thông tư số 11/2018/TT-BYT ngày 04/5/2018 của Bộ Y tế quy định về chất lượng
thuốc, nguyên liệu làm thuốc.
3. Đề nghị Sở Y tế các tỉnh, thành phố:
a) Thông báo việc thu hồi tới các cơ sở kinh doanh, sử
dụng thuốc trên địa bàn.
b) Công bố thông tin việc thu hồi tất cả các thuốc
thành phẩm nêu trên trên Trang thông tin điện tử c���a Sở.
c) Kiểm tra và giám sát các Công ty nhập khẩu thuốc
trên địa bàn thực hiện việc thu hồi các thuốc nêu trên.
Cục Quản lý Dược thông báo để các đơn vị biết và thực hiện./.
