Achayra is the one movie that Ram Charan and his dad, Chiranjeevi have made together. And I love it. It's a bit slow for the usual super action romp of both of them, but the message is beautiful, the slower pace lets you actually appreciate said message.

Also, Charan and Chiranjeevi together have the greatest comedy scene ever here.

Oh, and (spoiler alert) Ajay survives!!! (Ajay dies in everything I swear, so seeing him survive is always a joy)

Oh, it is not good -I have to say, Chiranjeevi did terrible Cameos for Ram's movies, but I will defend to the DEATH Achayra, the movie they filmed together, long after when Chiranjeevi un-retired)- but... at the same time, it was a bit better than some of the very Shoved in references to NTR Sr. in Tarak's movies which have included dancers with cardboard masks of the man during songs.

What I dislike mostly is not so much the Item song -as I have since come to terms with songs with one girl who will disappear forever from the plot and never be mentioned again- is that it never really tells us if Harsha is a pro-biker as the whole thing seems very... underground fight club? Including the girl running away and cheating in a way that could kill drivers!

Then again, I did see this AFTER Yamadonga where NTR's CGI recreated ghosts calls Raja, an Orphan, his GRANDSON making the poor fourth wall weep so... I guess my tolerance for weird references that I need Wikipedia to get had gotten higher :D

I gotta be honest. I’ve rewatched Magadheera a few times now, and I think it’s becoming my favorite non-RRR Rajamouli film???!! Never thought Yamadonga would be usurped, and I still love Yamadonga with all my heart, but Magadheera is so sweet and sincere, and my little fluffy gay heart just loves that to pieces. Not to pit two bad bitches against each other, but Magadheera has really come out on top!
