Playful Land_Part 1

A.N: Seems the tradition is holding, my Twst OC Mia Anderson in this year's Halloween event!

This man calling himself Ernesto Foulworth was shady as jack…

…How was no one else picking up this vibe?

Everything out of his mouth was theatrical, all flowers and honey to catch one unawares.

And Mia Anderson wasn't falling for it.

The longer he talked the more she wanted to get away. Discreetly, she skated towards the back of the group out of the fox beastman's flinty eyes.

But her classmates were truly taken with going to this Playful Land. She dimly remembered Deuce mentioning it but she guessed it must not have excited her enough to retain it.

At last, someone was showing signs of hesitation.

Ace leaned over and whispered to Jack, “Okay, is it me or is this sounding sketchy?”

“No kidding.” Jack replied absently rubbing the back of his head, "There gotta be a catch.”

Mia whispered her two cents, “About time! Doesn't this feel wrong to you?”

Aaaand that didn't last long.

Mia almost wanted to scream. How was this getting past everyone in this manner? Not for the first time she thought boys were generally stupid but this was reaching a new depth.

It wasn't that Mia wasn't interested in the prospect of having fun at an amusement park, it was just that these circumstances seemed off, a rotten fish hanging somewhere, seemingly no one could see.

Or smell.

As Eresto Foulworth's speech reached an almost fevered pitch, the boys seemed to break.

Yet, Mia swore she saw the glint in his eyes.

Mia was silent as the group headed back towards school, all of them excited. Some boys like Ace and Kalim didn't take much convincing so she wasn't surprised. But boys like Jack and Ortho who generally picked the right side of the lane were going along with this farce.

As they reached the gates of school, Ortho floated back towards Mia, who was trailing towards the rear of the group, “Hey, you've been quiet. Aren't you excited, Mia Anderson?”

Mia couldn't help it as stopped, “Seriously, does no one here feel something is off? That something about this feel wrong even?”

Ace glared and snapped, “What it's a crime to have fun now?”

“He came out of nowhere and handed us these tickets on a golden platter. Stuff like that don't just happen!” She turned to Jack, “Come on, you had a moment of doubt too, didn't you?”

Jack rubbed his head, “I know but Mr. Foulworth made a good point. We'll miss our chance if we don't go tomorrow. Besides, I already gave my promise, it's a moot point now.”

Mia bared her teeth, “He was twisting your arm. He's playing us like a fiddle.”

Floyd laughed once, “I'd like to see him try.”

Jade chuckled, “That would certainly be a sight.”

Mia's heavy sigh was mixed with a groan.

“Look, stop nagging, minion. We are going!” Grim snapped.

“We ain't doing squat.” Mia snapped feeling a headache come on, “I'm not in this! Y'all are on your own!”

Grim flew into her face making her bat at him violently, “Don't you mess this up for me, Mia. You do as I say. We are going! Don't you want to go have fun?”

“If it was legit and didn't require us breaking the rules, sure. But right now every single ounce of reason and instinct is screaming at me.”

“Tell it to be silent then! You won't keep the great Grim from his fun!”

Mia’s nose widened as she stalked away towards Ramshackle Dorm without another word, batting Grim away as he continued his whining.

All Mia could do now was pray there was someone on this campus with some reason.

This boy is so incredibly smug, he's just got the most proud, devious little smile on his face as soon as you doze off against his shoulder. The ol' Trappola charm must really be working for him to actually get you to trust him enough to fall asleep next to him and not expect to be drawn on in marker or poked and prodded in your sleep.

Jokes aside though, deep down Ace actually is really happy that you trust him that much. He knows he can be a bit of a troublemaker and an instigator, but knowing that you still feel comfortable enough to use him as a human pillow makes him feel really soft and fluffy inside. He'll make a genuine effort not to disturb your rest.

He's probably gonna fall asleep on you in return. After trying to sit still for so long, it's basically inevitable that he'll get drowsy as well. He turns his head in his sleep to unconsciously tuck his face into the top of your head, nuzzling gently back and forth as you greet him in his dreams.

Deuce is also incredibly happy and relieved that you trust him so much, though he's a lot more tense when you manage to fall asleep on him. He can barely believe that you feel so comfortable with him, and the last thing he wants to do is jeopardize that trust by accidentally waking you up with his nervous fidgeting.

He does everything in his power (without moving or speaking too loudly) to keep other people from accidentally waking you up as well. If you're out in like, the Heartslabyul common area, he shoots that delinquent glare at anyone who comes into the room making too much noise, even his own upperclassmen. Nothing's going to wake you up as long as he has anything to say about it.

From that point onwards, Deuce makes a concerted effort to be the one sitting next to you at any events and outings. Not that he didn't prefer to sit next to you already, but now that he knows how likely you are to doze off on his shoulder he's even more pushy about being the one seated next to you. He picks a lot of small arguments with Ace and Grim over it, flexing his boyfriend rights even though the use of the very word causes him to blush.

Before he's even consciously processed what's going on, Jack has instinctively slung a protective arm over your shoulders to keep you from sliding off of his in your sleep. It takes a second after that for him to actually process what's going on, but once he does his face flushes hot and embarrassed, ears flattening against his head as he glances around to see how many people have noticed your current position. Regardless, he doesn't remove his arm.

Once he's sure no one is paying too close of attention to the two of you, he'll subtly turn his head to rest his nose on the crown of your own, silently taking in your familiar scent. It makes him feel dozy and comfortable as well, like laying out in a warm sunbeam on fresh, green grass. If he let his guard down even a little bit more, he'd probably join you in dreamland.

Pinned between his back and his seat, Jack's tail can't help but keep wagging away with what little space it has to move. If it were all that visible to anyone else he may make an effort to stop it, but since it's so hidden he doesn't really see the point. He hides most of his emotions already, but the ones he feels for you aren't ones that he feels ashamed of.

He's sitting still and pretty on the outside, but on the inside Epel has gongs and fireworks blasting in his mind, a cacophony of celebration and cheers. I mean, letting his partner sleep on his shoulder is super manly, isn't it? And if you feel comfortable enough with him to do that, than surely you think the same!

He's doing his absolute best to tamp down all his excited, jittery energy though. If he gets too hyped up he might risk jostling you awake, and that is the absolute last thing that he wants to risk doing. Epel is giving everything he's got to keep still and poised, but the big, wobbly grin on his face is such a giveaway for his true emotions.

This specific incident burrows deep into Epel's mind and never lets go, so much so that whenever he sees you looking the slightest bit tired from this point on, he invites you to rest your head on his shoulder. "Yer tired, right? Rest for a lil. I gotcha." Those fireworks and cheers in his head return without fail every time you decide to take him up on that offer.

Despite all odds, you've somehow managed to fall asleep on Sebek Zigvolt's shoulder. Congratulations! You've also somehow managed to catch him so thoroughly off-guard that for a few seconds he becomes genuinely speechless. You're... You're sleeping? On him? Did he bore you or something? How rude!

I won't lie to you, the first time you fall asleep on Sebek he quickly jostles you awake, asking if he was boring you so much with his words that you were able to fall asleep of all things. Once you clarify that you fell asleep on him because you felt safe and comfortable he flushes bright pink, turning to hide his expression while he barks, flustered, that he supposes sleeping on him under those conditions would be "acceptable".

Anyone walking past the two of you would see Sebek sitting like a statue, face gradually getting redder and his brow furrowed in intense concentration as you slumber blissfully unaware upon his broad shoulder. He's really not used to such open physical affection, so he isn't really sure how to channel or vocalize it. But if he makes you feel safe enough to fall asleep, he'll give it everything he's got to not wake you up a second time.

THAT'S NOT FAIR!

I wrote something self-indulgent for myself ~

Note: "(Y/n)" has her/she pronouns. And sorry if the translator changed any pronoun, I re-read it already but if something's left I'll correct it later!

At NRC, there weren't many opportunities for an entire course to come together in one class, but this was one of those days when it did. Professor Vargas had told all his students something about how observing other people, apart from classmates, could awaken in each one a feeling of improvement and rivalry that would make them try harder everyday. And having said that, he gathered all the first-year classes in the schoolyard, so that each of the students could do the sport that they most wanted.

Ace, Deuce and (Y/n) –who was carring Grim– walked around looking sideways in search of their friends, and after a few seconds they saw Jack's hand, calling for them above all the student heads around. The four of them made room to pass netween their classmates, and found Jack and Epel there.

"Hey ~" Ace greeted, raising his hand. Deuce and Epel bumpled their fists, and Jack smiled. "Well, I'll be brief: Basketball"

"You're making up your own mind, Ace" Grim said reluctantly.

"You know, there are two people here from the athletic club, if we were to pick something by majority we would win" Deuce commented casually, glancing at Jack.

Ace mockingly mimicked him, then put his arms behind his head.

"What do you want to play then?"

"Anything, I only want to start moving NOW" said Epel, who had already begun to stretch.

"Same here" Jack said, folding his arms. "I just want something to keep me going."

"Well, then it's decided!" Ace turned away, before Deuce could say anything to him. "I'm going for a ba—!"

"I THINK that what Professor Vargas wants is for us to try new experiences."

"UWAH!" Ace was startled to see someone cutting him off, which he almost bumped in. "SEBEK!? Since WHEN were you there!?"

Sebek arched an eyebrow, not changing his expression too much.

"I have listened to your conversation from the very beginning, human. If that's what you mean."

"... Well, now that we are 7 at least we can play 3 VS 3."

"... Huh? But if we were 6 before, right?";(Y/n) said, counting.

"Ah— did you count Grim? 'Cause I didn't"

"HEY, ACE! I'M GONNA TO HIT YOU, YOU SEE!" Grim yelled at him angrily as Ace held up his tongue.

"AS I WAS SAYING," Sebek began, walking a few more steps to the other boys, "I think trying something that no one practices on a regular basis would be a much more enriching experience for everyone."

Ace narrowed his eyes at him, though Sebek didn't seem to have noticed him. Deuce put a hand to his chin thoughtfully.

"Sounds like a good option to me, actually" he said, glancing at (Y/n) and Grim, who nodded. Jack seemed to be listening intently, and Epel's eyes were fixed on Sebek, since he wanted to get started as soon as possible. "Do you have any suggestions, Sebek?"

"Hmpf. Of course I do" he said, smiling, and then headed straight for a bench.

They all looked at each other without understanding anything, and followed him. Sebek ended up sitting up and putting his elbow on the table, and when everyone saw him smile proudly they knew what it was about.

"Arm wrestling? Like, seriously?" Ace asked, looking bored. He sought support from the others, looking at them, but he was surprised to see everyone really wanting to get started.

"Do you think you can beat me?" Jack asked confidently. "I was competing against Leona-senpai some days ago."

"Impressive, but yes: I think I can win. Do not underestimate the bodyguard of the great Malleus Draconia."

Jack smiled and sat down at the table, and they both put their hands together for a second after they started. They were both too strong, so they just smiled while straining.

Epel was looking at them with super bright eyes, and then he turned to Deuce, clenching his fists tightly.

"DEUCE! We are next! I'm not losing to you!"

Deuce looked at him in surprise, but then his grimace changed to a crooked smile as he collided with one of his fists against his other hand.

"I'm going to do everything I can to win you over, huh?" He said, and Epel was quick to nod and sit up to go against him.

They both put their elbows on the table and clasped their hands, and on the count of three they started. From the start Deuce seemed to have the upper hand, but Epel didn't give up on the first try, keeping his arm up for a long time. Deuce knew that if he used as much force as in his past days, he could win, but he was no longer like that, so he gave his all without going to extremes that were not going to be good for him or for his opponent. But still, he was struggling. And that made him feel proud of his friend, who seemed to be getting stronger every day through training and perseverance.

"Epel, your training seems to be paying off" Deuce said, smiling, though his tone darkened a bit afterward. "But I'm not going to let you beat me."

"HA!" said Epel, cocky. "We both train very hard, but there is something that I have and you don't ~"

Deuce arched an eyebrow not knowing what his opponent was planning on him... until he fixed his eyes on him: Epel was looking at him with the brightest and most adorable eyes he'd ever seen.

"Huuum, Deuce-kun, you're too strong ... I'm not going to be able to beat you ... ~"

Deuce shuddered when he heard that high-pitched tone of voice suddenly, which made Epel suddenly use more force and knock down Deuce's arm, thus winning the game. Epel stood up with a jump, returning to his normal voice again.

"TAKE THAT, YOU LOSER! WOOOOOOO!"

Deuce blinked a few times, unaware of what had just happened. But as he recovered, he snapped his eyes open and pointed at Epel, embarrassed.

"EPEL! THAT'S NOT FAIR!

"What's not fair?" Epel asked, pretending to be oblivious, but without losing his smile.

"Deuce... You have to lose that irrational fear you have of women... Or well, of everything just a little femenine, ya know" Ace said, sighing.

"It's not irrational! EPEL! I DEMAND ANOTHER MATCH!"

"Eeeeeh...?"

Ace, Grim and (Y/n) stood watching them argue a bit, not saying anything ... until Ace and (Y/n) ended up looking sideways. And Ace then showed a mocking smile.

"... Weeeell, (Y/n)... Do you want me to crush you?~"

"You speak very confidently for being the weaklest guy in the basketball club, Ace" Grim said quickly, to which (Y/n) gave a small laugh.

"WEAKL...! All right, Grim, you against me! But if you end up crying don't blame me, huh"

"Whatever, I'm gonna win you over."

Ace sat down at the table and Grim jumped on top of it. They both put their arms in position and on the count of three, they started the match... which ended just as quickly.

"... Wait, WHAT!?" That scream sounded so loud that other students turned to look his way. "THAT'S NOT FAIR! (Y/N)! WHY HAVE YOU HELPED HIM!?"

"Hum? What are you talking about?" (Y/n) asked innocently, whose hand was on Grim's paw, and both of them had managed to knock Ace down in no time.

"HEY, DON'T PLAY FOOL!"

"Tch, tch, tch ... Ace, my minion and I are one student. If you are looking for a fight with me, you are looking for it with her. This is how things are ~"

Meanwhile, Sebek and Jack continued to compete. Neither of them seemed to want to give in and be the last loser of the day.

"Aren't you tired yet, Sebek?"

"Not at all. I am totally focused on our match."

"Heh. I supposed it. Although it seems that the others have already finished. We should finish soon.”

"HA! That those humans and that magic monster are not as good as us is none of our business."

"... You're right, I just have to beat you."

That made everyone turn their heads towards the two of them, especially Ace and Deuce, the losers from the previous rounds. The two of them frowned at being treated like that, looked at each other, and ended up reading each other's minds. Epel, Grim and (Y/n) could feel how they weren't planning anything good... even though they couldn't say anything about it. Ace and Deuce took a breath then, and...

"M-M-MALLEUS-SENPAI! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?"

"KINGSCHOLAR-SENPAI! HAVE YOU COME TO WATCH JACK'S MATCH?"

And then, Sebek and Jack reacted at the same time, getting up from the place very upright, turning to see their superiors ...

"WAKA-SAMA, IT'S AN HONOR—!"

"LEONA-SENPAI, I WAS—"

... Only to realize that they were nowhere to be found.

"WOW, Sebek, looks like you've lost, huh? ~"

"Now we're in the same boat, Jack ~"

The two of them were stunned to realize that they had given up at the same time, and thus, they had both lost.

"Good work, Deuce-kun ~

"Same there, Ace-kun ~

Ace and Deuce bumpled fists, grinning. When they weren't arguing, the truth was that they made a great team. Although...

"... Uh... You two... I don't think it's time to celebrate."

They both turned to Grim and could see Sebek and Jack getting dangerously close to them, stretching their arms and clenching their fists.

"Time to show them who the losers are"

"I was going to say the exact same thing"

Epel, Grim, and (Y/n) stood, watching the chase live... until Epel finally said something.

"Well... do you want to take one more?"

"Of course! This is the one to see who wins!" Grim said, jumping back onto the table.

"No cheating this time, okay? We will play as it should from the beginning" (Y/n) said him, laughing, and placing her hand on Grim's paw.

Epel smiled and joined them, getting ready.

"OK! So... AT THE COUNT OF THREE...!"

twisted wonderland theories part 3 : Opening explanation and parallels

Well well , hope you guys enjoyed reading the previous two parts of twst theories so far

Anyways , this is the third part . I decided to go through the opening and original disney animations and also black Butler anime references one more time so this is the combination of all I've found this time , together with some stuff you might've missed

Twst's official opening was pretty mysterious and is most likely giving us hints of the upcoming adventures during the storyline . Well here's the link to opening with eng sub and also the summary of the main character references that were given to us:

1) Ace and Deuce's rivalship : We talked about this one a lot back in (part 2) so let's skip this one

2) Leona's sadness and pain : Leona's tearn falling to the ground and the Ruggie and Jack coming for him ; that's just how he always is : mentally sad and broken with a horribly frustrating past , but will avoid expressing himself and letting anyone see his pain anyway . Not really weird that these two are always around him , Leona does really need to be looked after ...

3) Azul's seek of power : He just looked...mad in this scene . Ursula's shadow on his fave and that creepy smile totally freaks anyone out. It really explains how great his desire of power is . His neglected self in the childhood and pretty poor talent got him to this point...

4) Jamil's cold and kinda confused self : Well this one isn't really clear yet since ch 4 isn't out . But perhaps depression has this guy... spending his whole life serving the the nasty Kalim he might've grown the same characteristics as Jafar , who was so long sick of being the second one in everything . But still his ideal of life is much different from Jafar's . We saw him hypnotizing Kalim in order to make him force students to do better at school . He's trying his best to leave up to his promises as the vice dorm leader but still , having the nasty Kalim as the dorm itself is making it a lot harder for him so he's got no choice but to hypnotize him...

5) Idia's severe anxiety and his protectiveness toward Ortho : This one was mentioned in s rather old re blog but here e go again : Well with how the rumors of the "cursed Shroud family" , Idia's anti-society self might be a bit explained . This guy's overblot is surely going to be EPIC ... we just know very few about him and yet that's more than enough for him to overblot at once . Also the mention of the process of bringing Ortho back to life was a bad hit...His family curse might've been the reason of whatever thst has happened to Ortho

6) Vil's anger of not being the fairest and breaking the mirror: This one's been pointed out a lot . His anger being the same as evil queen's and also the fear of him actually poisoning someone to become the fairest one more time....**

7) Malleus' isolated self and his hidden evil aura : This one's being shown too obviously . The lonely dark prince exposing his evil side under the full moonlight . All alone , beyond the forest of thorns (Lol how ironic) while the others are running to save him before it gets too late...***

(note : **,***: Vil and Malleus' description will be continued undercut)

Very well these were the general hints found on the opening , but don't miss the final seconds which included the biggest hidden facts you could've missed

Firstly , the splitted ink (This one was previously discussed on part 1 but still...) : We talked about how in the "Epic Mickey", Mickey accidentally splits the magic ink over the kingdom and which led to the creation of "shadow blot". This sight seems to be much similar to what we had here in the epic mickey

Well this parallel might be more than just an accidental one and finally and it might actually be that overblot is kinda Crowley's fault , too

Crowley crosses the mirror , turns into an actual crow and flies away...(DaMn YoU bIrDiE wHERe ArE yOu gOinG I'M noT doNe YeT-)

Well the reason he suddenly runs away isn't clear yet but being a fan of black butler for years , I was suddenly reminded of how Undertaker disappeared all of a sudden at this scene from the movie :" Book of Atlantic "

pretty similar , aren't they..?

In Book of Atlantic , Undertaker revealed his original identity as a reaper and the mastermind behind the "Bizzare dolls' " project after pretending to be a just a crazy cookie lover for so long . And at once , he comes up with his stunning sudden self-reveal , leaving everyone in the room speechless

Now now , what do we have with Crowley?

A principal who keeps hiding his face (remember that Undertaker hid his eyes , too?) , telling everyone "how kind he is" many times ... also:

1) In the opening , he was standing smiling in the mirror hall while the seven dorms were burning through seven mirrors

2) He didn't ever try to stop anyone from overbloting ; even Riddle whose overblot occurred right in front of him

3) In the beggining of the game, he asked the mirror to choose the right one and then! and MC was chosen ! MC took the hand of the one appearing through the mirror (seemingly Dire Crowley) and came here. With all said , so why did the mirror reject MC afterwards?

Also , how couldn't he help MC return to Their own world and didn't know about it if he himself brought MC here..?(Could it be that...MC doesn't remember how she/he was brought here?)

4) If he literally is THIS useless and can't ever stop or help anything, then why would he be the principal.....?

Sooooo enough with Crowley ; but what's with these two....?

The spindle wheel & the poison apple ; Sleeping beauty and Snow white

Well it seems that Diasomnia and Pomefiore are going to play a greatly important role in the storyline . We were kinda sure of Diasomnia's but Pomefiore's...? What's so special with it?

(A few hours earlier)

(Me : Hmmm ... the black mirror...where have I seen this before..? *googling - searching Snow White- going to the magic mirror scene* Me : Uh...)

Well... here it is : The Crowley's beloved flower of evil , back at his days with evil queen

feeling old yet ...?

Btw , just how important is being "the fairest one of all "to him ? How 'far' would he go to be the fairest...? With the bitten apple in the last few seconds of opening , it most likely seems that he IS gonna 'kill' to be the fairest again ...Who would he kill ? We don't know . But how about our pretty small guy Epel? Could it be him ? The stubborn freshman who refuses following Vil around and is usually mistaken with a girl......?

Also , why would the original mirror be so important to Crowley? If Vil's supposed to represent evil queen , why isn't 'he' the one owing the mirror...?

And now , the spindle wheel .Great maleficent's legacy , in the hands of Crowley...Well well this is 'too' much . Malleus' family treasure being kept hidden in NRC... pathetic

Also , the mirror which Vil broke in the opening . Well well seems like he isn't having the original magic mirror , afterall....

But wait , if there's the spindle wheel , who's gonna be the evil witch to pull the sweet princess to eternal sleep..? Right , there's only one who might be...

Well we talked about all we'd got so far , but what about Grim ? Isn't anyone going to mention his importance or why he was also mentioned in this chaotic final seconds of opening ???

So... this is what we had in the final seconds :

1)The apple

2) Crowley

3)The black ink

4)Grim

5)The spindle wheel

We talked about all of them except nu 4 . But before that , I've got the same question as before : Why is it "Sleeping beauty" & "Snow white"..?

We discussed the "overblot Grim " hints in (part 2), but here's another thing :

Very well , ever heard of "Grimm brothers"...?

In the case that you don't know who they are , here' the point : They are the authors of 'original' versions of sleeping beauty & snow white; two of the darkest , deepest and possibly creepiest stories of their own throughout the history

I believe that most of you are familiar with the original versions , but you may like to take a look at these two if you haven't yet heard of them check the two of these stories out : (note: I'm aware that there are darker , deeper versions of these too but I'm not gonna mention any of them because : 1)They aren't written by Grimm brothers & 2) They include overly sensual and inappropriate content which has no place in my posts . If you care to know about them , check them at your own risk)

Alright , if you ever wondered who was Grim named after , I guess we've got it now . Mentioning Grim , Snow white and Sleeping beauty together at once is too direct to be a coincidence ...but it's also terrifying ...

Thinking that Disney is actually referring to the original books written by Grimm brothers is a bit too dark... Original stories are really horrible and a great way to ruin one's childhood , but all these hints fit each other way too great and now , they may no longer be just a coincidence...
