(I've had this idea stuck inside my head ever since I first drew my defense attorney Miles Edgeworth with @nortsauce angel Phoenix Wright and I finally got around to drawing their counterparts together!)

Ace Attorney swap AU

I’d probably keep all the other characters, Larry, gumshoe, manfred, etc, the same

Everyone’s backstories are mostly the same, the whole DL-6 incident was the same, Maya’s whole situation, etc.

Miles is a rookie defense attorney, at the age of 18 he ran away from his adoptive father and managed to get a job at Fey and Co. he’s optimistic and slightly naive, but has a bit of a snarky side. He became a defense attorney to follow in his father’s footsteps.

Phoenix hates the idea of criminals, like Larry when they were kids but on a bigger scale, getting off free. He’s cold and collected, he even idolized Manfred von Karma during his time in law school, and strives for a perfect record like his, but he does seem to have a soft side.

Maya went with Mia when she left Kuran, she only visited the village every now and then to practice channeling, but she’s very naturally talented. She has a bit of a sadistic streak, loves watching the defendants squirm as Nick presents his case, shes his assistant.

Franziska works as Miles’s assistant, she’s incredibly clever, and would make a great detective or attorney if she tried, though she has a tendency to play the fool, cracking jokes and keeping her cards hidden. She ran away from home 1 year after Miles did. Fran is laid back and casual, she smokes a lot of weed.

Okay I’ve been debating this for my Ace Attorney swap au, which honestly it’s a kinda Stupid debate, but a debate nonetheless

So, Context is yk how Phoenix can just very casually survive dangerous shit- Well, in my swap au, he swaps with Godot, or,

Diego I should say now cause he’s not in his “I’ve been reborn” arc anymore cause Phoenix kinda stole it

So in the Klapollo swap AU, how does Phoenix's disbarment go down?

I get that that is probably not really related to the focus of this AU, but I can't help but ponder the logistics.

The swap AU isn't really 100% loyal to the original story swapped around, so some things don't actually happen and/or simply cannot happen especially with the headcannons I have in place ykyk

BUT I can say that Phoenix is disbarred at some point, but as a prosecutor (since swapping the story, it would have been Phoenix having DL6 happen to him instead of Miles). Some things remain the same, like Trucy being a magician n whatnot but it does center around Klapollo, so some things are still kinda iffy with changes (thinking about it😋😋)

Here is Edgeworth and Franziska in my swap AU. Franziska is swapped with Maya, while Edgeworth is swapped with Phoenix.
