Accesso-Swap Au - Another Simon and Marcy swap Au but with a different twist, that twist being they swap roles but Simon is still the ice one and Marcy is still demon related.

Marceline was a famous musician before the war, until she found an amulet that slowly transforms the wearer into demon, it’s original wish to become like Hunson Abadeer making the wearer insane. When modern Ooo comes around, she’ll be known as the Demon Queen.

Simon is the half human half avian son of Urgence Evergreen, ruler of the Wintosphere. He was raised by Evergreen’s dinosaur assistant Gunther until the war happened and Gunther died, leaving Simon alone.

When Marceline finds Simon, she gifts him a penguin plush he named Jackie and the two travel together until Marceline fears the amulet’s influence is growing too strong, which causes her to leave Simon alone for his own safety. She decides to leave her guitar with him as a sorry, Simon takes extremely good care of it and learns how to play it.

Simon also gets a dog of his own in this au, a companion he found a few months after Marceline left. A dog he named Magwood.

Some Accesso-Swap doodles of Gunther and baby Simon. Since Simon is half human, he couldn’t survive in the cold Wintosphere, so Evergreen sent him to the normal world with his assistant Gunther as his guardian. Until the Mushroom war, the two lived in the middle of nowhere away from civilisation and were probably considered cryptids.

Gunther did his best to raise Simon, much better than Evergreen would have done, but he did only have Evergreen as a guardian so he sometimes wasn’t the greatest parent to Simon. Either way, the two were quite happy out there, that is until the mushroom war happened when Simon was about 5.

Simon was able to resist the radiation, Gunther was not. As Gunther got sicker, he became more stressed and thus has less patience whenever Simon would do something wrong. This came to a head when Gunther knew he wasn’t going to make it and told Simon to leave.

When Simon didn’t want to Gunther yelled at him to leave, quite a scary display considering the sharp teeth and claws. Simon left in tears, Gunther felt awful but felt it was necessary. He had a small recorder and used it to leave a message for Simon should he ever find his corpse, apologising for what he thought he had to do and saying goodbye.

Blank Slate Au - X

Simon is freed from being Ice King much earlier but has lost all memory of who he was and what happened to him.

Comet King Au - X

The magic of the crown turns the wearer into an imperfect version of the Lich with similar powers. So in modern day Ooo, Simon is known as the Comet King.

Hide and Seek Au - X

Finn never leaves the island and grows up with his human parents. After a shapeshifting incident, Jake ends up washing up on the island and is found by Finn, but he has to pretend to be a normal dog around everyone else.

His Dad Au - X

Billy ends up finding and adopting baby Finn instead of Joshua and Margaret.

Magwood's Will Au - X

An au where Magwood is able to free its eyes from the crown and take Simon as its host, Aka lava werewolf (or weredog) Simon au.

Marcy and Simon Au - X

A Role/species swap au where Simon is the half demon that got turned into a vampire and Marceline was a human that fell under the influence of the crown.

Question about the Simon and Marcy species swap AU Does a version of I remember you happen at all? Do they start to reconcile?

(I believe you’re referring to Marcy and Simon Au and not Accesso-Swap? Feel free to clarify if in another ask if not)

While they will reconcile at some point, an I Remember You event couldn’t happen the same way, or maybe it’d need to happen nearly exactly the same.

Marceline is still the one avoiding Simon in this au, packing up and moving whenever Simon finds out where she is and starts trying to reach out to her. This is because back when the humans were leaving Ooo, she wanted them to stay so she could protect them, but Simon fended her off and bought the humans enough time to leave. It’s an event she doesn’t even remember anymore, but she still holds a grudge about it.

I’m not entirely sure yet what changes that has Marcy let Simon hang around, perhaps he sings her an apology song (less about letting the humans escape, more about not being there to take care of her when he turned) then she joins in and they make up? Something along those lines.
