Blxst has issued the music video for his song “Be Forreal” from his latest release Before You Go. Directed by madebyJAMES, the visual finds the Los Angeles-bred singer spoiling his love interest with lavish gifts until one day, she wakes up alone. From a luxury car to an expensive shopping spree, Blxst and the woman are portrayed as happy and in love until the tone shifts. His song, “Fake Love In LA,” begins as he boards a private jet, looking back and shaking his head.

According to a press release, the “Be Forreal” music video is the next installment of the visual storyline established by “Every Good Girl” and “Never Was Wrong.”

Speaking with VIBE ahead of his debut album’s release, the musician shared how the project was a “self-care journey” about “owning who I am, I think that’s a common theme.”
