Okay, I realised that last post was cryptic and vague. For an early birthday gift, Stoat took me to our local con this year, which featured cast members from: Charmed Supernatural Dr Who Sons of Anarchy ... ...... .......and Smallville, amongst others. Michael Rosenbaum was wonderfully kind and generous, smiled a lot during our conversation, signed my photo to both myself and Beth {as himself *and* Lex Luthor} and thanked *me* while I was trying to thank him, even though I was losing my voice and Stoat had to step into the conversation for me.

A good time was had by all, we met many fun people, had great conversations with writers and artists, bought fun things, have presents for others here in upcoming birthdays and holidays, we got stalked by Darth Vader, saw someone who cosplayed as an 8ft tall Wookie... and got some tasty treats from a food truck owned by a lovely mother/daughter from Maui, Hawai'i.

The down side was the 3rd floor parking spot in the garage, and then the 3 floors of the convention centre that was all stairs because literally none of the elevators were in service until the end of the day as we were leaving. So six hours of hiking, walking up and down very long flights of stairs, no sitting areas, etc. Best day ever. Some take-aways though. Surprised the heck out of me how short some of these people are {{Both Julian Richings/Death from Spn, and Sean Patrick Flannery were my height or shorter}} Some of the professional wrestlers there {{Booker T. who was fabulous and so animated and charming, Kevin Nash who is quite possibly one of the tallest people I've ever seen}} and having a ball with their fans. It was just amazing.
