AVS-98 Mark II

A bit ago I got this neat figure of the AVS-98 Mark II Standard Labor (And the AVS-98 Economy as you can see behind it) It’s nice. 

A while ago I realised that the new Labors Unit 1 gets in the manga are actually pretty much the exact same design as the Standard, though I believe they’re called the Commando maybe. I’m not 100% on that right now. So basically I got the idea of painting the Standard to look like the Patlabor version.

I had to take it apart first, but that was rather easy.

I did get a second one for this though, they were on sale and the default colouring is good and it has this awesome round SHI logo on the shoulder.

I had to fill in some indents along the black coloured parts as the Patlabor colouring is different. Also I’ve done some more parts of the Python, all the leg parts have been cast now.

The hardest part of this will probably be the light bars as I will have to start from scratch on those but they do seem to be pretty identical to the Ingram’s. Overall this seems like it will be fun :)
