I don't remember WHO said this and I also forgot what media it was from but it said that peacocks hate the rain and will find shelter to avoid it (true fact) and it was an Aventurine related thing but I was just in my room thinking about it and remembered that Kaeya's constellation is a peacock as well...

AND from the webtoon comics, (which is related to the canon game but it just happened earlier before the official Genshin Impact game/storyline came out) the day Diluc and Kaeya's father died, it was also raining. AND THE REALIZATION HIT ME HARD LIKE THE TITANIC.

MAYBE KAEYA HATES THE RAIN— actually, no, he probably doesn't hate it but probably when it's a rainy day, he thinks back to the day his adoptive father died and so he avoids the rain so it doesn't trigger his memories.

For Aventurine, (I DON'T remember his lore correctly so please tell me in the comments) this also applies to him (he has peacock like references) because either when his sister or his fellow people died, during that day, it was raining (I don't remember, sorry 😞) and so maybe Aventurine also dislikes the rain? (it's a headcanon btw, for both Aventurine and Kaeya because it's not canon at all, this is just me rambling)
