Love 020
This is just a gamer romance. But this also isn’t the only gamer romance drama either. There’s not really much to say about the cast for the show. I mean they are all amazing. Though I’m not going to lie, there’s eye candy in this show. With the main female and male leads, Zheng Shuang and Yang Yang respectively, this show takes on a life of its own. Going between gaming sequences and reality…

Hong Kong drama review - "Finding Her Voice". Synopsis - old headmaster comes back to Hong Kong to see if he can find his old choir members again. His granddaughter is a mess and her BFF is coerced into pretending to be her husband bc her grandpa doesn't know she's separated from her husband. The choir members are in different stages in their life and have different things happening. They find each other and sing again. Meanwhile, they're still trying to look for a soprano from the choir. - SUPER CUTE show! I really enjoyed it! It's got some drama tropes but they do it well enough that I didn't mind. The characters are all so cute in their own way and how they interact with each other is adorable considering these are men in their late 40s, early 50s. Love the comaraderie they have. Makes me hope that I'll still have that when I'm older too. I'd recommend watching it if you're looking for something light and fun 👍🏼 . . . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview #HKdrama #HKdramareviews #findinghervoice #findinghervoicetvb https://www.instagram.com/p/B7Fr3FBnQ0c/?igshid=1rfavs6uz4kix

Meteor Garden
Let’s start this off with Meteor Garden. This is one of my favorite shows. I have watched it about 3 times through already. The main cast members are Dylan Wang (Dylan He Di) as Daoming (Ah)Si, Shen Yue as Dong Shancai, Darren Chen as Hau Zelei, Caesar Wu as Xi Menyan, and Conner Leong (Leon Leong) as Feng Meizuo. The chemistry between the actors give this drama a deeper level of connection to…

Fireworks of My Heart Pt 2
The first one was done when I was at like episode 17. Now that I have finished this show, I can say that this is another must watch. The best way I can really explain this show without giving away a bunch of spoilers is that it’s like Chicago Fire but the Chinese version of it and a hundred times better as well. The ups and downs, “drama” of being a firefighter and medical professional, and…

Gu Family Book aka Kangchi: The Beginning is a must watch. I love this drama. Action, comedy, romance, bromance, family and DRAMA. This has it all! // ML is half divine creature, half human. Wants to become human and learns what it means to be human. FL is a strong woman and is bad@$$. Love female characters like that. // definitely recommend 10/10. So many feels. I started watching because it was on my list, @leeseunggi.official and @skuukk_zky are in it and I needed something to watch while waiting for Vagabond episodes to appear on @netflix which also star those two! Love them both! (Actors and dramas! Can't wait to find out what happens on @drama_vagabond next!! . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview #kdrama #kdramareviews #gufamilybook #kangchithebeginning https://www.instagram.com/p/B5FLJHBgE4-/?igshid=1gveguzakyxyv

Cheer Up! or Sassy Go Go // two rival groups at a high school end up head to head and to solve it, they need to work together to get things back in place. // It's a cute little short drama and I loved it. If you're in for a cute little rom-com with fluff, platonic friendships, and slight second lead syndrome; this is it. There is a strange relationship thing that's a bit weird at first but it's fine and it doesn't degrade from the story. So yes, watch it . . . . #kdrama #kdramareviews #asiandramas #asiandramareview #cheerupsassygogo #sassygogokdrama https://www.instagram.com/p/B0AvHt_npt6/?igshid=fjkk5ebuqfdn

Just finished watching Strongest Deliveryman (2017) and it's such a cute little to - pm. // Male lead doesn't stay in a place longer than 2 months and works at a deliveryman. He is literally the nicest guy you've ever met. He ends up working with female lead who is saving money to move out of South Korea. A big restaurant conglomerate moves into the neighborhood and is planning on kicking out the mom and pop restaurants. The second leads are heirs to big companies but want to become independent of their families. // I really enjoyed this light fluffy drama. You know how it's gonna turn out but I kept coming back to see the friendships turned family and the journey it took to get the bad guy down. It wasn't super cliché and trope-y but still predictable. I just liked how the main couple came to be. I'm all about the fluff. // 10/10 recommend if you're wanting something light and fun 😀 . . . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview #kdrama #kdramareviews #strongestdeliveryman #strongestdeliverymankdrama https://www.instagram.com/p/B_mB01ID9pc/?igshid=x4pfsj3qr22l

Took me awhile but I finally finished watching Ghetto Fabulous Lady (a HK drama on TVB). It took me awhile because I was watching Korean and Chinese dramas in between (as usual, why do I do this to myself?) // This drama is about a high class lady who loves the books Sherlock Holmes and is good at solving mysteries. She ends up being left in the "ghetto" and rents out a room with poor neighbors and there's a bunch of murders that happen. She tries to solve them and has lots of help and finds out secrets her husband was keeping from her. // It started out kinda slow. The mysteries were good but wasn't intriguing enough to keep me from moving on to another show. The pace picked up midshow so if you are planning to watch it, just be aware that it does get better. More clues pop up and lots of twists I didn't see coming. I enjoyed it and that ending!! Oh sheesh! Why do they do this? Just be like a Korean drama and give me a good ending! With closure!! Have you watched this? DM me so I can talk about the show with you! . . . . . #HKdrama #HKdramareviews #asiandramas #asiandramareview #ghettofabulouslady https://www.instagram.com/p/B3Tm1oCAUcC/?igshid=qy3ti0i7i0yf

Chicago Typewriter is on the top of my list as one of the best kdramas I've ever seen. I just finished watching this last night and i still can't get over it. // This show is about a writer with writer's block, a woman who is more than just his first fan, and a ghostwriter and how they're all connected. // it starts off a bit slow but I promise, keep watching. This show also contains time travel/flashbacks to the 1930s during a time when the Japanese was occupying Korea. It goes back and forth to the past and modern day in a way that isn't annoying. You actually welcome the scenes from the 30s. It is so interesting and you learn more about this mystery that all 3 main characters are involved in. Chicago Typewriter has romance in it but that isn't the main element of the show. For me, this show was about friendship, living life now, fighting for what you believe in, and it will hit you in the heart and gut in the end. I was so glad when I was watching the last few episodes alone at night because I was literally sobbing 😭🙈 (I get way too invested into the shows I watch). This show deserves more love. Watch it on @viki if you haven't yet. Add it to your list. You won't regret it. Unless you don't like shows that make you want to cry or actually cry. If you have watched it. What did you think? . . . . #kdrama #kdramareviews #asiandramas #asiandramareview #chicagotypewriter #chicagotypewriterkdrama #somanyfeels https://www.instagram.com/p/By_FzhsHneQ/?igshid=v4a0f7qn1ax5

A Fist Within Four Walls // takes place in the triad-ridden Kowloon Walled City in the early 1960s. The plot revolves around Chor Au-kuen, a gifted martial arts novice who takes on the duty of protecting the walled city against evildoers. (Short synopsis taken from Wikipedia) // I watched this a long time ago and it's one of my favorite @tvbcomhk dramas. It's got heart, laughter, martial arts, and it'll also hit you in the feels. I could watch this again and again. I actually put this on when I'm doing the dishes so that if I do look away and miss something, I'll be ok since I've already seen it. It has some of my favorite Hong Kong actors in it. They do a great job in this series. You can watch it online or use the TVB English app. It's on there. That app is ok. It could be better but I don't think they update that app very often, if at all. I wish they would. Anyways, I definitely recommend this one 👍🏼 . . . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview#HKdrama #HKdramareviews #afistwithinfourwalls https://www.instagram.com/p/By3S8DRHBou/?igshid=96n9qh6d7n89

Romance is a Bonus Book // Lee Jong-suk! I love this guy! He's such an amazing actor and so adorable! However when I started watching this show, I couldn't get over that she was like 5 years older than her. I'm not a huge fan of noona dramas but I'd have to say that this show won me over. Plus it was about books! I love books! I loved watching the process of the creation of the books. The opening credits were so pretty too! // there's a small mystery that is going on and keeps you guessing what it's about. But then when it gets solved it's a bit quick and easy. There's no really second lead syndrome but there are two guys who like the main lead female. Same old trope. It's a cute drama. I'd recommend it . . . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview#kdrama #kdramareviews #romanceisabonusbook https://www.instagram.com/p/ByRn6oVgPhx/?igshid=1uc0ur8tzga8r

Romantic Dr Kim // Synopsis: 3 doctors end up at the same hospital where they learn from each other that the patients are more important than money. // It's a bit more complicated than that but that's the gist of it. I started watching this after I finished Reply 1994 because I needed to see the actor, Yoo Yeon-seok, lead a drama. However, his role in this drama kind of irritated me. But later on, he got better. I liked this drama. It was intriguing and I wanted to keep watching to find out the mystery of why one of the doctors decided to live away from the main hospital. // Would I watch this again? Probably not but it was a pretty decent drama and worth the time. Although I have to admit I caught myself watching it just to finish it and find out what happened rather than watching it to enjoy the story and characters . . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview#kdrama #kdramareviews #romanticdoctorteacherkim https://www.instagram.com/p/ByN_XLSnsvB/?igshid=aithm7yqf3mb

Reply 1994 - Synopsis: Boarding house tenants live together while attending college and become close. // I really enjoyed this drama. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me want to be their friend and become part of that group. The mystery of the husband is the main focus of the show and you'll get serious Second Lead Syndrome (SLS) from this series. There were times when I wasn't sure which guy to root for. I loved watching all the different stories unfold and you're going to fall in love with all of the characters. All of the actors did an amazing job with their performances.// Should you watch this? Yes. This is an enjoyable one. Reply 1988 is a 2016 show and I know it’s older show and I haven’t technically finished the show because I couldn’t wait and read the recaps from @dramabeans. I’ll probably still finish watching it but I’m mad. // Synopsis: stories about neighborhood families and the friendships made and how they all became like family. // it’s a really good show. I laughed, I cried, I got mad. I loved the stories of the friendship that this show portrayed. Made me wish I lived in a neighborhood for most of my life. (We moved a lot when we were younger.) I loved the group of friends that went through thick and thin together. That was one of my favorite parts about the show. I liked that it didn’t strictly focus on the husband mystery like Reply 1997 & Reply 1994 (which I still need to review) but the ending did not make me happy. He deserved better! They basically forgot about him in the last episode and I had no closure! What the heck show!!? How could you!!? You might not agree with me and you liked the ending but I’m still not happy. The show totally did a 180° on me. Should you watch this show? Yes. So we can discuss the show and let me rant about it in a private chat without spoiling it in the comments. Now I’m off to tumblr and the interwebs to look for fanfiction about the couple who should have ended up together

Have you seen Reply 1994? If you haven't, I'd put it on your list to watch. // It's about a group of people who end up living together with a family in a boarding house as they attend school in Seoul. A bunch of these kids are from the country and they try to navigate life as a student in a city. // It's very similar to Reply 1997 as in you have to figure out the husband is. It gives clues and also tried to mislead you throughout the show. It boils down to the last two candidates as the show progresses and I ended up rooting for the both of them. Haha. Depending on the episode and what they showed, I definitely had a bias but I leaned favorably towards one of them near the end. This show is pretty funny and had some great laugh out loud moments. I love that they grew together to become closer and became a family. They weren't just strangers in a boarding house. It does start off a bit slow but picks up on like episode 3 or so. Just give it a chance if you're still not feeling it. The actors are wonderful in this show and do an amazing job portraying their characters. There is some comedy gold in this show and you don't want to miss it. // Put this on your never ending list of kdramas to watch. I just finished binge watching #LoveO2O the #cdrama and later found out there was a #cmovie of the same name and same story. // The cdrama was on Netflix and I started watching this past Wednesday and finished today (Saturday) because I may or may definitely have stayed up till 2 am Thursday night and till 5am Friday to finish watching all 30 episodes. I LOVED this drama because of the lack of drama with the main couple. They got together and just had to deal with dumb people trying to break them up. They really loved and trusted each other. I loved seeing that and not feeling so frustrated with the show. The friend groups made the show for me. Loved their camaraderie and their relationship with the main characters. You'll love the show for the lighting, fashion, and scenery. // I went on Tumblr and reposted about the show and found out there as a movie. Watched it on YouTube and the movie is pretty similar minus all the drama and unnecessary characters from the drama. // Both adaptions are equally cute and I loved but versions. You won't be sorry watching either of them. // I even read the Manga online, well whatever was English subbed. I'm a sucker for dramas and I fall into the tumblr rabbit hole after I'm done and try to find out as much as I can . . . . #asiandramas #asiandramareview https://www.instagram.com/p/BrJ8QxbjLhN/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=idbbnuw2kz9p
