The last weeks of tour are upon us.
This is your last chance to see the Dangerous Dreams Tour on the road.
After that, we’ll be performing Julius Caesar, The Life of King Henry the Fifth, The Importance of Being Earnest at the Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, VA through June 12. We’ll also be adding George Bernard Shaw’s Arms and the Man to our repertory.
Hope you can catch these wonderful plays!

We had a great time in Austin last week.
Our hosts at University of Texas/Shakespeare at Winedale were phenomenal.
The crowds were enthusiastic.
AND THE FOOD WAS PERFECT.
SO WAS THE WEATHER.
Thank you, Austin! Hope to be back soon.

This was our "Wooden O" for our residency at the University of Alabama in Hunstville. It was a grand ol' time. (And thanks to the English Department and the Huntsville Literary Association for those killer baked potatoes after the Henry V performance. We're still recovering from the glory of that banana pudding too.) Photo by Ross Neal.

Here’s a time lapse of our load-in process at the Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, Virginia. You can also hear our rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Think,” which we play right before Julius Caesar.
Come see us on the road! Here’s a link to our itinerary.

Cassius and Caesar jam backstage before the performance of Julius Caesar at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. We had an excellent time playing all three shows in Huntsville! Up next: Georgetown, SC. (Cassius should know better than to shoot in portrait mode.)

Quote
“Shakespeare creates a play that is both radical and conservative....Passionate and reasoned. Noble and seedy. Political and personal. It is a play that is many things, but make no mistake: it is about us. The play reflects not only our love of country and democracy, but the love between husbands and wives, the love of brothers-in-arms, the love of fathers and sons, and perhaps most importantly, our purported love of fairness and equality.”
Ben Curns, director of Julius Caesar, for The Watauga Democrat
The Dangerous Dreams tour plays at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina this week.
