also not to be a bitch, but there is no bigger self-report regarding being incredibly insulated from the experiences of marginalized people on this website than thinking we do not have shadowbans. like all you have to do is be in very loose proximity to a handful of users who talk about their experience surviving various axis of oppression to see how common false shadowbans are, let alone that the function exists in general. like, come on now. we don’t have to lie/misrepresent things to acknowledge the way that tumblr has some benefits compared to other social media, & we certainly don’t have to provide cover for the weaponization of protective functions against the groups most in need of protection.

Hope it's okay to add on, I've consistently seen racist, genocidal white people on here ever since October repeatedly spreading the lie that all the Black bloggers who were banned for posting about BLM were "Russian psyops", and so are the Palestinian bloggers and their allies who've been banned more recently. And even right fucking now, today, I've already had to block two people who are claiming that anyone criticizing Genocide Joe Biden and calling for him not to be rewarded for comitting genocide is a Russian Psyops.

So not only do they ignore that POC have been having their blogs terminated for years now, they actively go back and retroactively victim blame and pretend that all of these victims of blatant racism were actually Russian fucking spies. So that they don't have to aknowledge any of the systemic racism and can keep pretending they're the ultimate victims of every situation all the time.

These people are accusing Palestinians and everyone else who has morals of being Russian psyops for refusing to reward Genocide Joe Biden with another four years with which to commit genocide, make the borders more dangerous for asylum seekers, and get more people killed by Covid19 by pretending the pandemic is over.

They'll literally admit they don't give a single fuck what happens outside the US, because they, a white trans person, are the top priority and in order to ensure their safety, they're going to vote for Genocide Joe Biden, because they literally do not care about anyone but themselves.

These genocide apologists won't even hesitate five seconds before calling anyone and everyone a russian spy if they don't consider ablebodied white Americans to be the most victimized people on the planet.
