Arthur was quite excited to catch up with his old friends from the choir. They had all struggled together attempting to fit in in a very small, very conservative little town in the middle of forgotten America. Liking music, pink and men was not expected from men and the church choir was -oddly enough- the only place where they could be close to being themselves, even if they weren't out yet. During that time the only one he was close enough to know was his sister Daisy but in time most of the town suspected it. His father was not the quiet or understanding type. His mother was but was equally scared of their father.

So Arthur left as soon as a scholarship came along, away from prying and judging eyes and pursued theater, eventually realizing he loved acting yes, but he also loved plays, learning, teaching, finding small nuances in them. He had moved to NY right after college, and hardly never visited their small town, even less so after his sister moved closer to him with her husband and children.

So seeing the old gang again in his beloved city was going to be amazing. He wanted to show them all his favorite spots, hear how they all were, if they had all found love--he had thought he had for a while but ultimately it didn't work out.
