okay i need to complain for a little bit and this is the only blog i have that’s completely safe from the person i’m about to complain about. sorry

okay so this person followed my main a while back and was in my notes constantly. we had a lot of mutual friends so i followed them back only to realize they have some of the WORST spn takes in the world. we basically are fans of two different shows and also they reblog a lot of horribly contradictory political posts like they don’t even read what they’re reblogging BUT by the time i realized this they had already struck up a friendship and now it would be extremely rude to block them out of nowhere.

yesterday i vagued about this scenario without naming names or getting too specific in a server i’m in, which i forgot this person is also in. everyone immediately jumped on the drama and i reassured a different friend that i wasn’t talking about them THEN. AND THEN. the annoying person in question came online and was like omg i’m kinda worried ur talking about me 😅

like. what do i even say to that. yeah i was talking about you and i find you insufferable even though we’ve been friends for months and i wish i’d never followed you back. WHAT THE FUCK!!! so of course i changed the topic (caveat: i wasnt confirming or denying anyone else’s queries to avoid narrowing it down so it didn’t look targeted)

basically i’m pretending to be friends with this person i cant stand and it’s devouring me because we have so many mutual friends i’m probably going to be cast out from the circle if i ever make this public. jesus christ almighty i guess my fate is to live this lie forever
