Taking A Break To Point Out Somebody Did A Good Job
Let’s take a break from all the Trump silliness for a moment. Back in October, I wrote an APTA to the Town of West Warwick. West Warwick Town Clerk Sarah Rapose was able to satisfy that request in less than 24 hours. In the middle of an election cycle, that’s pretty awesome. Click here for the original request. Here’s the…

Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk 2014
"Uptown Funk" is a song by British record producer Mark Ronson featuring American singer Bruno Mars. It was released on 10 November 2014, as the lead single from Ronson's fourth studio album, Uptown Special (2015). "Uptown Funk" was written by Ronson, Mars, Jeff Bhasker, and Philip Lawrence; it was produced by the aforementioned first three. The song began during a freestyle studio session while they worked on a jam Mars and his band had been playing on tour. Copyright controversies arose after the song's release resulting in multiple lawsuits and amendments to its songwriting credits. The song is a funk-pop, soul, boogie, disco-pop, and Minneapolis sound track. It has a spirit akin to the 1980s-era funk music. Its lyrics address fashion, self-love and "traditional masculine bravado", performed in a sing-rapping style filled with metaphors, arrogance, charisma, and fun. Upon its release, the single received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the instrumental, style and influences of the track. Others criticized it for not being innovative as it tried to emulate 1980s funk music.
"Uptown Funk" topped the charts of 19 countries and reached the top 10 of 15 others, making it the most successful single of Ronson and Mars to date. In the US, "Uptown Funk" topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 14 consecutive weeks and spent seven weeks on the top of the UK Singles Chart. It was certified 11 times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and six times platinum by the British Phonographic Industry (BPI). The song spent 11 weeks in the number one position in France, 6 weeks as number one in Australia, and 9 consecutive weeks as number one in New Zealand. It also broke its own streaming record three times in the UK, while breaking the streaming record in the US and Worldwide at that time. As of January 2023, the official music video for "Uptown Funk" was the ninth most viewed Youtube video of all-time, having received over 5.2 billion views.
In 2015, the song won British Single of the Year at the Brit Awards, Best Pop at MelOn Music Awards and was one of the Top 10 Gold International Gold Songs at RTHK International Pop Poll Awards. The track also won BMI Pop Song of the Year at the BMI Awards, Song of the Year at Telehit Awards and Song of the Year at Soul Train Music Awards. In 2016, "Uptown Funk" received Grammy awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 58th Grammy Awards. It also won International Work of the Year at the APRA Music Awards, Best Collaboration at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, while it was nominated for Song of the Year. "Uptown Funk " was inducted to the 2017 edition of the Guinness World Records for achieving the most weeks at number one on Billboard's Digital Song Sales chart. In 2017, the track was one of the winners of Most Performed Songs at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. "Uptown Funk" is the fifth biggest song of all-time to have charted on the Billboard Hot 100.
"Uptown Funk" received a total of 84,5% yes votes!

email i got today not sure if this is news??:

Breaking news: a top Democrat in the House has highlighted the problem with the “duty of care” model in the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA).1
During the markup last week, Rep. Frank Pallone said, “adopting the duty of care could cause social media companies to over-filter content out of an abundance of caution about legal risk, and as a result some young people could lose access to helpful and even life-saving content.”2
This is exactly what dozens of human rights, civil liberties, racial justice, and LGBTQ+ groups have been saying for years about why KOSA’s duty of care is so dangerous.3
Our grassroots campaign is working and it's getting the attention of top lawmakers. Can you help us continue the fight to ensure that KOSA is only passed if it gets fixed?
Donate
Pallone rightly went on to say that he doesn’t trust Big Tech companies to make determinations about what types of content recommendations cause mental health disorders, noting that our understanding of the science in this area is still evolving.
Here’s what this means:
It’s working. Your phone calls, emails, the videos you’ve made and shared, the small $5 and $10 donations that enable us to run online campaigns, display your comments on billboards in DC4, and keep the media and lawmakers staff as informed as possible about our concerns have made KOSA less likely to pass, at least not without major changes. The top Democrat on the House committee is speaking out against it, and that wouldn’t have happened without all of our work together.
We still have a ton of work to do. Rep. Pallone’s alternative proposal is to try to address the harms of Big Tech by going after Section 2305, which would lead to many of the same harms he’s worried about with KOSA’s duty of care. So we still have to work to educate his staff and other members on and off the committee, and drive emails and phone calls urging Congress to adopt strong privacy and antitrust protections instead of stalling out again and again with bills like KOSA and EARN IT that raise serious human rights concerns. APRA, the privacy bill that also advanced at the hearing, has some positive features, but there’s a lot of work needed to make it strong enough to actually protect the most vulnerable people.
KOSA could still pass, and we need to keep up the pressure. Despite the surprise blowback KOSA faced at last week’s hearing, the subcommittee still voted to advance it to a full committee vote. That means it’s one step closer to passing, and there is still a very real possibility that it could be snuck into a “must-pass” funding bill like the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). There is a big push from backers of KOSA including full page ads, op-eds in major papers, and several large tech companies have already come out in support of it. We have to take it seriously as an ongoing threat.
There is also still a chance that KOSA could be amended to address our concerns. Senator Wyden has proposed some helpful amendments. One of the good parts of KOSA is its ban on targeted advertising to kids. That could be imported into a strengthened version of APRA, for example, while leaving the harmful duty of care model behind. There are lots of ways Congress can address the harms of Big Tech and protect kids without enabling censorship and surveillance.
So, we gained some ground, but the fight is far from over. If you’ve read this far, you must understand how important this is. If you’re in a position to donate, please click here.
Help stop KOSA
If not, seriously don’t worry about it. We’ve all been there. Thank you so much for being part of this movement demanding Internet policies that don’t throw marginalized people under the bus. We can fight for an Internet where kids aren’t just safe, but have basic human rights, and the ability to speak out and shape the world around them.
Let’s do it,

Setting Up a Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF): A Comprehensive Guide
Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) have become a popular choice for individuals looking to take control of their retirement savings. While the idea of managing your own superannuation fund can be appealing, it requires careful planning, strict compliance with regulations, and a clear understanding of the responsibilities involved. This guide will walk you through the essential steps and considerations for setting up an SMSF.
What is an SMSF?
An SMSF is a type of superannuation fund in Australia that allows individuals to manage their own retirement savings. Unlike traditional super funds managed by third-party institutions, SMSFs give you direct control over investment decisions. However, with this control comes the responsibility of ensuring the fund complies with superannuation laws and regulations.
Why Set Up an SMSF?
Before diving into the setup process, it's important to understand why you might choose an SMSF over other superannuation options. Here are some potential benefits:
Greater Control: You have direct control over the investment strategy and assets of the fund.
Investment Flexibility: SMSFs offer a broader range of investment options, including property, shares, and collectibles.
Cost Efficiency: For larger superannuation balances, SMSFs can be more cost-effective compared to retail or industry funds.
Estate Planning: SMSFs can provide more flexibility in terms of estate planning and succession.
Key Considerations Before Setting Up an SMSF
Time and Expertise: Managing an SMSF requires a significant amount of time, expertise, and ongoing commitment. Consider whether you have the necessary skills and resources.
Costs: Establishing and maintaining an SMSF involves various costs, including setup fees, annual audits, accounting fees, and potential investment costs.
Compliance: SMSFs must comply with strict regulations set by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA). Non-compliance can result in severe penalties.
Steps to Setting Up an SMSF
1. Determine if an SMSF is Right for You
Assess your financial situation, investment knowledge, and willingness to take on the responsibilities of managing an SMSF. Consult with financial advisors to understand if an SMSF aligns with your retirement goals.
2. Choose Your Trustees
An SMSF can have up to four members, all of whom must be trustees or directors of the corporate trustee. You can choose between individual trustees or a corporate trustee structure. Each option has its own implications for administration, liability, and costs.
3. Create the Trust and Trust Deed
To establish an SMSF, you need to create a trust and execute a trust deed. The trust deed is a legal document that outlines the rules for operating the fund, including trustee responsibilities, member rights, and the fund's investment strategy.
4. Apply for an ABN and Register with the ATO
Register the SMSF with the ATO to obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN) and a Tax File Number (TFN). This step is crucial for tax purposes and compliance.
5. Set Up a Bank Account
Open a separate bank account for the SMSF to manage its assets and transactions. This account must be used exclusively for the fund’s operations.
6. Develop an Investment Strategy
Formulate a detailed investment strategy that outlines the fund’s investment objectives, risk tolerance, and asset allocation. This strategy should be reviewed regularly to ensure it remains aligned with the members’ retirement goals.
7. Appoint Professional Advisors
While managing an SMSF gives you control, it’s wise to seek advice from professionals such as accountants, financial planners, and auditors. They can provide guidance on compliance, tax matters, and investment decisions.
8. Roll Over Existing Superannuation
If you have existing superannuation accounts, arrange for the transfer (rollover) of these funds into your SMSF. Ensure you comply with the relevant procedures and documentation requirements.
9. Ongoing Compliance and Administration
Maintain accurate records of all transactions, decisions, and compliance activities. SMSFs are required to undergo an annual audit by an approved SMSF auditor. Stay updated on regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.

Get to know Big Gay Day performer TINY

Get to know Big Gay Day performer TINY
Each month we ask local entertainers to spill the tea about themselves, their craft and the local scene. This month it’s regular performer on the Brisbane scene, including this year’s Big Gay Day, DJ, producer and singer TINY.
I first got into music…..
When I was six, I was taught chords on a guitar by a family friend. It wasn’t until I was 10 when I received lessons. In high school I was pretty big on writing poetry and won competitions for that so naturally I moved into writing songs and singing when I was 14.
My big break was…..
At the age of 17, I completed my first album and entered one of my songs into a national competition held by Universal Music and APRA called the Bali Song Summit. I won and was flown to Bali to write and collaborate with producers and artists from across the globe. This led to me becoming a top-line writer for other artists (helping them write lyrics and melodies).
I went to LA and did a lot of collaborations, however I left the industry shortly afterwards. I had lost my passion for music and my mindset was brainwashed into “you need to write a hit” rather than, “let’s write from a place of how we can connect to others.”
DJ career
I became a DJ because…
I had a lot of early success and people wanted to know me for what I could give them, but not wanting to know me as a friend.
So after a few months of being depressed, going through a breakup and living a life without music I realised my life didn’t have much meaning without it.
I decided to become a DJ so I could learn to produce during the week. I didn’t tell anyone about my previous success. I wanted to connect with people in the LGBTQIA community and I wanted people to know me for me. I didn’t expect DJing to take off as well as it did, but I guess that was because I fell in love with the process.
My best skill is….
Discipline and perseverance. There was no luck in my success. That was the result of putting in the work every day and still showing up for the love of music, even after experiencing a lot of heartbreak throughout the industry.

Best and worst experiences
The best gig I’ve done is….
Splendour In the Grass was very much a surreal moment. I felt like years of dedication, commitment and hard work that people don’t see behind closed doors had finally paid off.
The best audience I’ve had is…
When I played Snowbombing in Austria. The support and love for music that I felt in Europe is something entirely different to Australia.
Being a female DJ is…
Becoming a version of myself that I wish I had to look up to as a child so future generations can feel like they can do the same.
Being a female definitely drove me to work hard. I put more pressure on myself to learn as much as possible in all areas of music, not just as a DJ but also as a producer and artist so the proof of my actions was in the pudding itself and nobody could question it.
The worst experience I’ve had performing is…
Well, I’ve played a lot of gigs so I couldn’t say there’s just one. I’ve had the music stop on me whilst performing, I’ve had a glass thrown at my head (I dodged it) and I’ve completely cut the music in a club just to kick a man out who was harassing me and wouldn’t leave. Like every job, there are good days and bad days but it still beats working in an office!
The rudest thing you can say to me is…
“Your music is $#it can you change it.”
I’ve kicked people out of clubs for it as it’s not necessary. Because:
It’s another artist’s music
Most people don’t understand when you play residency gigs you are playing what the venue wants to maintain their brand
Don’t complain unless you’re willing to pay the DJ.

The scene
The scene for queer women is….
Biggest In Sydney. I’ve travelled the world and have experienced pride in Europe and the US. Newtown was where it was at when I was there. Safe to say I do miss it and everything was different back then before lockouts.
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough community (YET) on the Gold Coast to create a sustainable ongoing venue for the queer community due to tall poppy syndrome. I hope to see performers within the community eventually come together so it can benefit the collective.
The next big artist on the scene in Queensland is….
Siala is definitely coming up. Her flow and sounds as a rapper is something I felt drawn to. What she stands for, how she presents, I think she is someone that younger people within the LGBTQIA community can look up to.
We recently connected and I’m excited to see what the future holds for her. I just played for her at The Zoo with Haiku hands. It was a vibe.
Outside of DJing I….
I am “Into-resting” contrary to popular belief. I need a lot of downtime to recharge. I love making music, spending time with the people who are closest to me, working out and surfing.

Self-discovery
Something people may not know about me is…
I recently realised thanks to my girlfriend that I identify as Non-Binary (still as she) that language didn’t exist when I was growing up. I would have called it being androgynous. I always used to get asked if I was a boy or a girl and was mostly mistaken to be a boy.
When I was younger I struggled to come to terms with being a female and wanted to be a boy. As I’ve grown older I’ve embraced and felt the empowerment of what it means to be a woman and I am happy with dressing to how I feel energetically on the day.
Something surprising about DJs people don’t realise is…
It can be extremely isolating if you’re doing it full-time. You’re in a room full of people but you don’t get to have conversations. It takes a lot of balance, knowing your limits and maintaining a healthy lifestyle to have a career with longevity.
Regular DJs don’t make as much money as people think. It’s important to consider making and releasing your own music if your aim is to be in it for the long run.
Most DJs want to do it full-time but generally have a burnout rate of 3-9 months.
In 2024 I hope…
To head back overseas and release some new music. I haven’t had the chance to travel since before Covid and I’ve got a lot of upcoming musical projects that I have been working on.

Asset Finance Trends in 2023: What to Watch For
At its core, asset finance revolves around using assets as collateral for borrowing. These assets can range from inventory and accounts receivable to short-term investments. This financing approach enables companies to access capital by making manageable, periodic payments over a specified period. This article aims to explore the current trends in asset financing.
Technology Advancements in Finance
Technology has become a pivotal aspect of our daily lives, extending its influence into finance. This impact encompasses integrating blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), and automation to streamline financial processes. These advancements contribute to heightened efficiency and reduced risks. These technological strides have significantly improved the ease of running and analysing data. As a result, lenders now enjoy quicker access to insights, leading to enhanced risk assessment and more robust financial solutions.
Sustainability and Green Financing
Climate change is a global phenomenon with far-reaching implications, impacting various sectors, including finance. Despite the adoption of numerous measures and the increasing prevalence of paperless transactions, climate change remains a significant factor.
In the current scenario, investing in green initiatives holds substantial importance. Although greener options may appear more costly, they would greatly save humanity in the long run. One notable example in the financial sector is the emergence of green mortgages. These financial products enable new homeowners to acquire properties that adhere to specific energy-saving standards, promoting a shift towards more environmentally sustainable practices in construction and housing.
Regulatory Changes and Compliance
The evolving landscape of asset finance demands adherence to stringent compliance guidelines, ensuring robust protection and management of a company's assets. These guidelines typically fall into two categories: internal and external. Private organisations establish internal compliance policies, while the government mandates external compliance policies. Here are some recent updates from the Australian government concerning financial compliance:
Updated regulations for APRA-regulated institutions following data attacks on Medibank and Optus
Release of results from the inaugural climate vulnerability assessment by APRA
ASIC's continued focus on addressing greenwashing practices
APRA's publication of findings from the latest climate risk self-assessment survey
Evolving Customer Preferences
Customer expectations in asset finance are undergoing swift transformations, influenced by various factors. A key driver of customer satisfaction and preference is the ongoing recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. While larger corporations have largely rebounded from the financial impacts of the pandemic, the broader population is still in complete financial recovery. It has resulted in diverse customer preferences within asset financing, with some individuals seeking more lenient terms to facilitate their journey toward financial stability.
International Expansion and Global Asset Financing
As the global demand continues to surge, it becomes imperative to explore global asset financing. The escalating need for cross-border financing aligns with the expanding global demand. In their quest for assets, businesses are increasingly venturing into international markets. While challenges may arise, navigating them is feasible with informed financial solutions guided by professionals in the field.
Conclusion
While the above mentioned trends showcase valuable perspectives into asset finance for the financial year 2023, it's vital to note that the industry is consistently evolving. Technology is a prominent catalyst of change in the financial industry, including everyday life. Given the difficulty of the financial sector, it is essential to consult expert guidance. At 3Lane, our finance professionals are well-equipped to help you navigate these dynamic changes, ensuring you can confidently make informed financial decisions.

Helen Townsend ‘Is This Love’
Australian Americana artist Helen Townsend is that rare artist who can make large venues feel like lounge rooms. Get comfy and lean into her richly lyrical songs, get up and dance, sing along because she’s singing about you, fall in love with the stagecraft — whatever your desire, it’s all good because it’s just you and Helen. When the lights go up no one will ever know. Townsend’s new single, ‘Is This Love’, asks the age-old question, the one we’ve all wanted answered sometime or another. Dressed up in irresistible honky tonk blues, ‘Is This Love’ is an instant dance-floor filler and the first leg of a musical oeuvre that has Townsend at the peak of her powers and will have audiences beaming and calling out for more. Helen Townsend may have been late in picking up the tools of her trade but in a short time she has shown herself to be a master craftsman in a field too often crowded with cowboy-booted jacks and jills of all trades. Her sweet voice and tender picking rubs against songs that are filled with characters living with the costly results of impulsive choices and memories that just won’t let go. Her music takes you on a journey through beautiful valleys, coastal plains and soaring over mountains with a few deep, dark tunnels to keep you grounded. She has carved out a reputation for edgy Americana music – one that has pushed the genre’s boundaries from roots-rock through blues and country to folk – with her upcoming album, Helen has broadened her style and flair even more so with catchy new melodies, tight harmonies and personal stories and lyrics that hook into your heart and tear up your soul. The new album builds from her previous 2 EP’s and her debut album, which scored her multiple awards and nominations including winner of WA Country Music Award for Best Emerging Artist and Song of the year. Townsend has continued to extend her musical influence with her recent US shows and was part of the Sounds Australia Showcase at the coveted Americanafest in Nashville. All this on top of the US launch of her EP “Love, Lies ‘n’ Leaving” which found its way into the FAI top 10 Folk albums chart in the US for September 2022 has increased Helens popularity in Australia and abroad. The video for the single is pure Americana nostalgia with Townsend and band arriving via a classic car to tear things up at a swinging rock ‘n’ roll bar. Through out it, we see Townsend question ‘Is This Love’ with her partner and fellow Australian musician Shannon Smith, as they share a dance, cocktails and eventually make plans to meet again. Much of Townsend’s forthcoming new album has been inspired by her new relationship with Shannon Smith, who has also channelled their love for each other in his own upcoming music project, both albums being written respectively from their different sides of the relationship, as these two musicians forged their bond. Helen Townsend releases ‘Is This Love’ on 26th September 2023. Keep reading to discover why understanding super details for employers is vital and what you need to know to stay compliant with Australia's superannuation laws.
🌟 WHAT IS EMPLOYER SUPERANNUATION? 🔍
As an employer, it's imperative to be well-versed in the super details to ensure compliance with Australian employment laws. Superannuation, or "super" for short, is a mandatory retirement savings scheme designed to provide financial security for employees. Every employer in Australia is required to make super contributions for their eligible employees. However, there are intricate rules and regulations that you must be aware of to avoid potential legal issues.
📜 EMPLOYER OBLIGATIONS 🔑
Understanding your super obligations as an employer is your responsibility. The Superannuation Guarantee (SG) sets out the minimum super contribution that you must make for your eligible employees. The SG rates are calculated based on an employee's ordinary time earnings (OTE). The majority of payments made to an employee are included in OTE, including salaries, commissions, benefits, and incentives. However, it excludes overtime payments and certain types of leave, like sick leave or maternity leave.
⏰ As the SG rates are subject to change, it is advisable to check with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to stay current.
🔍 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA ⚠️
Prior to June 30, 2022, employers were only required to contribute to the Superannuation Guarantee (SG) for employees who earned $450 or more (pre-tax) in a given month. 💥 As of July 1, 2022, the monthly earnings threshold was eliminated, meaning employers are now obliged to make contributions for nearly all their employees. 📝 It's important to keep track of employee earnings to ensure you comply with your obligations. As an employer, it is also your duty to make sure that your staff members qualify for superannuation fund contributions.
💡 PROVIDE YOUR EMPLOYEES WITH A CHOICE OF SUPERFUND
To comply with regulations, employers must offer eligible employees the option to choose a super fund. There are certain exceptions, including employees covered by certified agreements, members of defined benefit funds, or those with temporary visas. If an employee doesn't choose a fund, you'll need to select a default option. Remember, the default fund must be complying and meet the standards set by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA).
⏳ MEET SUPERANNUATION PAYMENT DEADLINES ⚠️
To avoid penalties and legal repercussions, it's crucial to submit superannuation payments on time. As an employer, you're required to make quarterly contributions to your employees' super accounts. These payments must be made within 28 days after the end of each quarter. Here are the specific deadlines:
📅 28 October for contributions from July to September
📅 28 January for contributions from October to December
📅 28 April for contributions from January to March
📅 28 July for contributions from April to June
❌ Failure to meet these deadlines can result in fines, penalties, and, in severe cases, legal action.
📋 MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORDS AND REPORTING 📝
As an employer, it's crucial to keep meticulous records of your superannuation guarantee (SG) contributions. Make sure you retain copies of all contributions made, as well as any agreements regarding super contributions with your employees. Additionally, keep a record of the super fund choices offered to your employees. These records must be retained for a minimum of five years and readily available for inspection upon request by the Australian Taxation Office.
💼 Remember, your superannuation obligations require accurate reporting and record-keeping while adhering to ethical practices.
🔚 CONCLUSION 💪
Equipping yourself with a comprehensive understanding of important details for employers empowers you to fulfill your obligations, create a positive work environment, and secure your employees' financial futures. It's crucial to be well-versed in superannuation details for employers, including obligations, contribution types, deadlines, employee eligibility, and reporting and record-keeping requirements, to avoid non-compliance penalties. As a responsible business owner, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations is of utmost importance.

Viral invasion....
ABOARD USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71) (March 26, 2020) -- It’s becoming increasingly apparent that no place on Earth is truly “safe” from the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.
On March 5, 2020, United States Navy nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) made a very visible and important port visit to Da Nang, Vietnam (photo above). Vietnam only allows one warship per year from any specific country to visit....so this was a port-call well beyond just hard-earned rest and recreation for the carrier’s 6,000 crew members. It carried diplomatic, political and strategic implications as well.
Vietnam was certified as “safe” from the virus at the time by multiple health authorities from around the world.
Apparently, during that visit nearly three weeks ago, several crewmembers did, in fact, contract the ever-elusive COVID-19 virus. There are now at least two dozen known positive cases of the virus onboard the huge warship....with many other crew members being closely monitored.
Hospital Corpsman 1st Class Ernesto Santa Ana, USN and Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Maria F. Potts-Szoke, USN work in Naval Medical Research Center's mobile laboratory aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71).
Accordingly, the carrier has been diverted from its deployment duties in the western Pacific Ocean, and has docked at Naval Base Guam to get the entire crew tested. The crew will be quarantined onboard the ship during the stop in Guam. The sailors infected with COVID-19 have been taken to a special hospital ward ashore.
The huge U.S. Naval Base at Apra Harbor, Guam
The ship’s mission cannot continue until testing is completed and the ship certified virus-free. Otherwise, disaster could result, as the world has seen aboard cruise ships in recent months. And, of course, living conditions aboard a warship are much, much tighter than aboard a cruise ship.
The Navy is currently arranging for as many COVID-19-specific test kits as possible (still in short supply worldwide, of course)....with the remainder of the crew subject to close surveillance monitoring.
* * * *
Like everything else involving the COVID-19 pandemic, this is a developing story....and updates will follow as warranted.

Favorable aspects of diy superannuation
self managed super have a array of promising Positive factors. These may include:
diy superannuation with huge balances will often substantially less costly to manage as compared to APRA equivalents
Maximum Control and flexibility - the point that the family members of a self superannuation are likewise obligated to perform as trustees makes diy superannuation good deal more manageable as opposed to a number of other fund types, as participants posses the possibility to tailor his / her self managed retirement fund guidelines and to formulate selections dependent around the members’ specifications and case. This general flexibility most likely will relate to a range of considerations including investment chosen for example
youtube
Family Advanced planning - don't forget that your own wish don't instantaneously keep on top of an individuals retirement living entitlements, a self managed super will make it easy for you to work out a much higher amount of dominance during the supply regarding your passing away payout versus open public offer super funds. Similarly, self superannuation can easily form joining nominations that don't ever conclude, not like large public offer superannuation funds which probably really have to be persistently brought up to date
Financial investment protection - property investment invested within superannuation, for example a SMSF, are undoubtedly safeguarded from financial institutions. Nonetheless, it is really fundamental to be aware that this omission just isn't going be considered wherever a distinct person makes cash transfers inside their very own self managed retirement fund for the certain goal of defeating claims originally from their collectors
Shortcomings coming from all SMSF
It must be evident from the above mentioned that certainly there have always been a lot of different positive factors in implementing a SMSF superannuation to save to your own retirement years. Unfortunately, there exist a variety of aspects linked with an ATO self managed super which actually necessarily mean it is absolutely not the most suitable path to take for anyone. These include:
Extended time commitment - the very feature of the self superannuation should have practically all person to adopt a proactive eagerness in the management of the DIY Super fund. Hence, it is undoubtedly far from a ‘set and forget’ financial commitment and might take a particular time commitment taken from an individual. It will be noted, nevertheless, that it dedication are usually reduced by hiring a self managed fund professional
Fraud as well robbery - in the instance that a self superannuation consumer loses his / her financial wealth as as a result of hoax or break-ins, they are definitely not qualified to get national compensation plan, as would be available to public offer funds
Problems or disagreements - when managing controversies, self superannuation representatives definitely don't have direct access to the Superannuation Complaints Tribunal, while is provided to CFMEU super fund. Rather, the couples in disagreement could need to commence legal proceedings to get the matter reconciled via a court room, which experts claim can be quite expensive as well as complicated
Trustee Guidelines
To be entitled to become an SMSF trustee, a man or woman must be 18 years or older and normally not:
be under legal disability
be bankrupt under administration e.g. an undischarged bankrupt
have gotten a administrator chosen
Alert
Those who intentionally act as a trustee of a SMSF Super while banned will probably become subject to harsh penalties, like imprisonment.
Additional expectations of trustees include:
No fellow member of the self managed fund could be a worker of another fellow member of the self superannuation unless they are related
New participants preferably should sign a statement understanding their roles and accountability

AGHORA AND APRA PARA PRAKRITI
Apra Prakriti
It is a manifestation of Rudra and Rudra at the similar time, Rudra manifests from it
This face of Para Shiva which is facing southwards known as as Aghora. Aghora means that which is not horrible or wrathful and thus this denotes the peaceful face of Sadashiva.
This face is of a Neela Varanam or blue shade. Aghora face represents the macro-component of Fire and it's the facet of destructive regeneration i.e. the method of rejuvenation.
This face has the sound of Ahum or it holds the Ahum Naad within itself. Ahum denotes the I’ness of Maker’s Makings along with the I’ness which is held by every animate and
inanimate microcosm.
It was from this face that Rudra Deva had self manifested, and thus Rudra is a Swayambhu or in other phrases, Rudra is self manifested deity who has no mum or dad or
relationship. Rudra of Vedas can be the same as Allah of Islam.
Aghora holds the Gyan Shakti or energy of supreme knowledge. Resulting from this motive, no aspirant can ever arrive at Atma Jnana or self data by bypassing Aghora face of
Sadashiva. Gyan Shakti can also be addressed as Goddess ‘Saraswati’ who in a while had self manifested into a attributed type (or Sagun Sakaar Awastha) from the mouth of
Lord Brahma or the creator of allness.
from this face had been originated the Aghora Pravara, Atharvan Shaakha, Vartulakara Homagundam (altar of sacrificial fire which is spherical in shape), Nagopaveetam (the sacred
thread of the snake), Varna Mala (50 letters of the Sanskrit alphabet) and Dakshinagni (the hearth of and from the south) . This face destroys all sins, evil in addition to granting
riches (of wealth of data and materials).
Aghora represents the sleep state or Sushupti’ stage of consciousness.
Among the many five fundamental sounds of the ‘Mridanganam’, ‘Thom’ sound was manifested from Aghora. Among the many seven Swaras (notes or sounds) of music
Panchama (pa)’ has manifested from Aghora. Among the 5 ‘Talas (rhythms)’ of conventional music and dance ‘Shatpeeta Putrika Tala’ has manifested from this Aghora face of
Sadashiva. Among the ‘Pancha Bhootam (5 parts)’ Aghora is ‘Agni (fireplace)’.
Among the many chakras (or plexus’s) of our physique Aghora denotes and likewise rules over the ‘Anahata Chakra (heart plexus)”. Aghora denotes the seed letter ‘SI’, in the ‘5 sylabled or Panchakshari Mantra (NaMaSiVaYa)’.
As per Agama Siddha lore, out of the 28 Shaiva Agamas which had been revealed by the 5 faces of Sadashiva, this Aghora face revealed Nisvasa, Svayambhuva, Vijaya, Agneya
(or Anala) and Vira, and gave them to Rishi Bharadvaja who transferred this information to 2 celestials who afterward have been accountable for propagating this knowledge on
Earth.
