AoC worsens the AP by 1, and GtG gives you benefits of cover 1. So unless shot at by an melta or somethin akin to it, would have the Sanguinaries saving on 2+ against AP0 & AP-1, 3+ against AP-2 & AP-3, 4+ at AP-4, and extremely rarely at a 5+ at AP-5.

Important to mention, that this would also stack with the benefits of cover gained from ruins and the Detachment ability. Not to mention the Sanguinary's ability for -1 to wounds as long as a warlord is leading them.

火古戦場が始まったぞ！！！！

古戦場といえば十天衆。現在カトル・エッセル・シス・シエテを仲間に出来たんですが、毎回次はどの武器集めればよかったんだっけ…？ってわからなくなってしまう。今回は全然持ってなかった琴にして、とりあえず完凸したんで、あとは素材あつめですね。古戦場終わっ��らやります。

今まで先輩騎空士たちから「天星器は砕く」「天星器は40本要る」という話は聞いていたんですが理解出来ていませんでした。という���も戦力が伸びず、十天衆をLv80にすると発生する戦闘に勝利できなかったから…！

以前、シスに何度かタイマン勝負を挑んでボコボコにされ、戦力がある程度整うまでは勝負はお預けや！と尻尾を巻いて逃げた私ですが、友達にそろそろ挑戦してみてもいいかも、と言われ、一番お気に入りのカトルくんと戦ってみました。1度目は惜しくもあと少しのところで負けましたが、2度目はなんとか辛勝。「勝ったらすぐに上限解放できるのかな♫」とウキウキで確認しにいった私の前に立ちはだかったのが上記画像です。

Okay so, I feel like I need to add to this.

First off let me say: I'm incredibly disappointed with the admech previews so far and I've lost hope for 10th edition reversing the stupid design decision of the 9th edition codex that focused the army on the basic bitch skitarii troops.

However I need to say that the -1 toughness of the Vanguard really wasn't what was killing marines in the army. I'm glad to see it change into an ability that is actually interesting now. You can bully a squad of Terminators with the new Vanguard and say "lol nope you get no objective because I am glowing lmao"

I'm glad to see the radium carbine get anti infantry, but keep it's ap0, as it should be.

The arc rifle absolutely FUCKS vehicles, but I'm scared they will be 1 Rifle per 10 skitarii, at which point they are meh

Losing the 4+ save is... stupid. I'm got no explanation for that and I'm mad about it. Skitarii aren't guardsmen ffs. I can survive losing a point of ballistic skill (as annoying as that is, I can justify it in some way with the whole "reducing lethality" of the edition and such) but losing the save?! Whyyy? (Again, I'd love to get detailed patch notes from gw with explanations WHY they made certain changes lmao)

The fact that Rangers and Vanguard will now buff other units is... bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Oh so fucking Bad. I hate it with all my being.

Anyway that's just my (salty) opinion on the current state. All this might change when we know more about the other datasheets (especially characters) but I doubt it. I do not like the design choice of making skitarii the core of the army and fucking over cult mechanicus units AGAIN.

Have you seen the news? Skitarii are being nerfed into the ground for 10th edition. Hit on 4s and have armour on 5s, the cyborgs are literally just guardsmen now
