AoC worsens the AP by 1, and GtG gives you benefits of cover 1. So unless shot at by an melta or somethin akin to it, would have the Sanguinaries saving on 2+ against AP0 & AP-1, 3+ against AP-2 & AP-3, 4+ at AP-4, and extremely rarely at a 5+ at AP-5.

Important to mention, that this would also stack with the benefits of cover gained from ruins and the Detachment ability. Not to mention the Sanguinary's ability for -1 to wounds as long as a warlord is leading them.
