I'm an artist who has difficulty colouring work, so if you're ever comfortable sharing i would love to see what the process of someone else to who colouring does not come natural look like! I love how your colours turn out, so warm and cohesive without being washed out. When I look at the process of other artists I admire they often seem to hit on their colours quickly, so it would be very helpful to see the process of someone who struggles more, like I do.

hi !!! i posted process vids for these three drawings which u might find helpful but they go pretty quick so i will try and explain more!

-my big number one advice is doing underpainting, this is all the yellow u see me use in the process vids. this is partly so i can alpha lock them for easy colouring but also, i use semi-opaque brushes when doing my main colouring which lets the yellow peek through every part of the drawing, giving everything a uniform undertone! very very helpful i recommend it a lot :3 things like overlay / multiply layers can help bring all your colours together as well and make a big difference. i also like to use soft light / subtract layer modes. just play around!! i do however think its good practice for your drawing to work without those modes as well, you dont want to rely on them to make the drawing work, just enhance it! heres a drawing of mine with and without the various layer modes - a big difference and more impactful with, but the drawing on the left still looks fine without!

-as for how i go about choosing colours i hve two ways. mainly nowadays i just eyeball it but i also sometimes use colour pallets like these! how i make these palettes is by auto generating palettes from images in procreate which is so so helpful. if u see artwork u rlly like the colours its a great way of trying those colours for yourself without having to do as much thinking. when u get a sense for it u can start coming up with your own palettes!

-i cant talk abt this without talking about colour theory. i am not an expert but its really worth familiarising yourself with what colours work / contrast each other. if u want to, for example make a warm toned drawing u simply just stay away from cool toned colours! u can still have them in, but there still needs to be a warm undertone that can be done with the underpainting or just eyeballing! i hvent used palettes for a long while now and ive always found it easier to choose cohesive palettes with these than using the like big wheel or smth.

i prefer picking colours like this bc i feel like i can more easily control the undertone, than if i was picking off a colour wheel etc.

a lot of my success just comes from practice and experience! but smtimes colours r just stinky n are hard to get th vibes for . i usually just walk away and take a break and smtimes have an epiphany and other times if ur rlly struggling just throw the whole colouring out and start again !! and if ur rlly rlly rlly struggling take a look at ur actual drawing again. smtimes if ur composition/ shading etc is weird it makes the colours go on wack bc u dont have a good foundation!!!!!

anyway i dont think i explained this well. go forth and colour ur brain is big etc

tbh I like most ships as long as it’s not problematic or I find them weird/that they don’t have much chemistry. I also don’t mind poly or platonic ships (duh). I’d be sitting here all day yapping ab the ships I like/am okay w bc frankly it doesn’t have to strictly be character A X character B, I think it could also be character A X character C, etc. as long as it’s not any wrong. I won’t be going apeshit(/neg) over ships that I don’t like as much or have like a 2 year age gap. I mean, I think it starts to get weird when there’s 4 years of difference. I think people do too much when they hate on less popular ships smh if it’s nothing weird then let ppl have fun w their little kitty witties smh 😞

Some ships I like tho r a lot of Ghibli movie couples in general bc they’re just super cute and I love the writing Ghibli does for its characters (I want what they have.). I also like Yukito/Yue X Touya and Syaoran X Sakura from CCS but that doesn’t mean I don’t also like Tomoko X Sakura (pretty sure Tomoko implied to like her anyway). I also like some other side ships from CCS but I barely remember their names bc it’s been so long since I’ve watched it and Netflix took it down 💔. CCS ships r cute in general I think, I’ve never seen any problematic ship (except that one girl X her fucking teacher. Pookie. You’re like 13. Don’t date ur teacher. And she was so pretty too bro why did they make her a questionable character 😭). And now. Getting to jjba my beloved. Since I unfortunately focus so so so much on p5 those are the only ships I’ll yap ab 😢. Huge honorable mention to Jonathan X Erina (jonaeri) tho they’re super cute together even if a lot of ppl said they barely have screen time and stuff :3. Anyway. Part 5. I honestly don’t care much about ships in la squadra as long as they had some form of interaction y’know (I don’t pay too much attention to La squadra anyway 💔). Usually ppl get really divided when it comes to Bucci gang ships tho. Honestly I’d rather see them all as a friend group that see each other as siblings to avoid all that shipping, but I admit I really like some pairings, like fugonara, bruabba, giotrish, futrish, naratrish, etc. I really don’t mind it that much (I don’t rlly ship mista w anyone bc I just don’t think there’s anybody matching his freak 😭). I mainly ship fugonara as you can see just bc to me it makes a lot of sense even if I also see them under platonic light. If there’s fugo, there’s narancia, and if there’s narancia, there’s fugo. I just find that rlly cute :3. I also like their backstories and how they tie together and the narancia death scene ripped my heart out in the anime so (IM CRYING AGAIN JUST FROM THINKING AB IT STOP 💔). Again that doesn’t mean I dislike the other ships, I just don’t pay much attention to them or think they had as much chemistry or time together. I love seeing my fave characters tho, so it’s not like I won’t like the content if there’s like gionara or something. Honestly I like seeing ppl have fun w their cutie patooties as long as it’s not too controversial, once again. It’s rlly a shame that ppl can jump at each others throat bc they disagree on a mere ship. It’s literally not gonna alter your life. Also, bc I say a ship some bucci gang characters doesn’t mean I don’t also ship them platonically. (I’ll type it like it’s ao3 tags lolz. Pretty sure & instead of / is for platonic, right?) I rlly like Narancia&Mista&Fugo (torture dance trio is literally the best friendship ever to me bc wdym you did a coordinated dance w ur homies to torture someone that’s so cool). There are also a few others, but they don’t come to mind rn (and there’s a f,y in my room annoying me.) You know what I think I gave jjba way too much attention. Tyler’s POV :

I couldn't shake off the feeling of unease after storming out of Andretti's place. I knew I had to calm down and clear my head. I decided to take a walk along the beach, hoping the fresh air would help me process my emotions.

As I walked, I couldn't help but think about Y/N and the mark on her face. Who could have done such a thing? And why was Andretti flirting with her like that?

I felt a surge of protectiveness towards Y/N, and I knew I had to find out what happened. I turned around and headed back inside, determined to get some answers.

When I returned, Y/N was still working, her face still bearing the bruise. I approached her, my heart racing with anticipation.

"Y/N, can I talk to you for a minute?" I asked, trying to sound calm.

She looked up at me, her eyes hesitant. "Sure, Tyler. What's up?"

I took a deep breath, my mind racing with questions and emotions. "What happened to your face? And why was Andretti flirting with you like that?"

Y/N's expression changed, and she looked around nervously. "Let's talk outside," she whispered.

I nodded, and we stepped out into the night air, the tension between us palpable.

Y/N’S POV :

Tyler led me outside, his eyes fixed on mine with a mix of concern and anger. The cool night air hit us as we stepped into the parking lot, the only sound being the distant music from the bar.

"Who did this to you, Y/N? Tell me the truth," Tyler asked, his voice low and urgent.

I hesitated, not wanting to escalate the situation. "It was just some guy at the bar, Tyler. It's not a big deal," I said, trying to brush it off.

But Tyler's grip on my arm tightened. "Don't lie to me, Y/N. I can see the fear in your eyes. Who was it?"

I sighed, knowing I couldn't keep it from him. "I don't know his name, okay? He was just some drunk guy who got out of hand. He was yelling at me, and then...and then he hit me."

He paused, taking a deep breath. Then, his expression suddenly turned stone-cold, his eyes glazing over with a calm intensity.

"Don't worry about it, Y/N. I'll take care of it," he said, his voice eerily calm.

He leaned in, his lips brushing against my forehead in a gentle kiss. "I'll see you later, Take care."

And with that, he turned and walked away, leaving me stunned and confused. His sudden change in demeanor left me wondering what was going on in his mind.

Uhhhhhh hey sorry I’ve been gone 🥲. I’ve been rlly busy the past few weeks and things r js now settling down for now. I’ll try to update a few more parts before I go on vacation for 3 weeks😂. But srsly thank u guys for being patient n not flipping out. That’s rlly all I have to say for now I promise I’ll get at least 2 more parts out by Tuesday cuz that’s when I leave for vacation n hopefully schedule some posts the come out (no promises tho). - based. classic. matthew lillard <33 all the goodies!! one of the first horrors i ever watched under my parent's noses LOL. 14 year old me was bisexually smitten <3

- og tcm, tcm the beginning, and leatherface! i also actually liked the 2022 version even if it wasn't particularly spectacular compared to the others--brain empty leatherface hot <33 (also there's some dilf eye candy u might enjoy hehe)

- friday the 13th 1 & 2! the og is soooo close to my heart i love. him <3

- carrie & jennifer's body......lesbians u know what's up.....i love weird <3 off-putting <3 unhinged <3 rage-fueled <3 demonic women <33

- fear street! the whole trilogy is great (lotsa cuties <3 its got maya hawke!) but the 2nd installment (1978) is my favourite!! summer camp + interesting lore + continuity + axe-wielding maniac ahhhh! also im workin on the part 2 for my tommy slater fic 4 those who liked it hehe

- the ritual (2018) and prey (2021) are two non-slasher horrors i rlly like too! the ritual was based on a book i rlly enjoyed & its about 4 friends who go on a hiking trip in sweden n get lost n hunted by an eldritch deity--very cool if u like psych thrillers! prey's a german film (it's a little slow at times but i liked it!) so long as u don't mind subtitles its pretty good! same vein as the ritual, friends in the woods gettin lost & hunted n its got lotsa blood. i found it pretty creepy at times & the plot twists were cool imo! would you rather (2012) is another non-slasher i liked that's more death game media but i haven't watched it in a longass time so i can't speak on how good it holds up LOL

- most likely to die (2015). now. hear me out. i don't think a single person ive recced this movie to irl has unironically enjoyed it & not made fun of me for liking it but it has a special place in my heart........listen. it's dumb. but it has a psycho in it that i kinda love & i actually RLLY like the design of the graduate. so! if u have nothing better to do then give it a watch ehe </3

- for korean movie enjoyers: #alive, zombie movie so not rlly horror but the protagonist is a cutie & i got properly spooked in a few places! train to busan in the same vein, zombie movie + dilf protagonist + unending horrors <3 which brings me to not a movie but a netflix series: the silent sea! properly spooky dystopian space scifi that most certainly gave me the willies!! reccing it also cause....hehe....dilf

anyways! those r just off the top of my head so there's probably lots more im not thinkin of, & i got lots to watch now thanx to the recs so im gonna be goin on more deep dives <33 muahahaha!

Eheheheh I found ur YouTube channel and binged watched all of the Taco and Mepad livestreams (my coping mechanism after II18 😔) and when I found out you guys had a tumblr I SPRINTED to the app so fast— u guys r so cool! I will be coming here to be silly cuz yes =3 also Rosin, I rlly rlly love the way you play Taco I love love love the sillines (and the the new short on YouTube made me die of laughter) you can see I talk a LOT or well type in this situation— Anyways, Luca, I rlly love how u play Mepad too! AND BY HOD BOT OF YOUR SINGING VOICES ARE TO DIE FOR. I have the livestreams downloaded too so I can hear them on long car rides or airplanes, I’m watching the other livestreams too, but since I love Taco and Mepad (I’m a proud tacopad shipper, and I again I say how lovely you both portrayed the characters) I watched them first. I hope Mepad come back in another livestream 😭✋ (I HC test tube and Fan find a way to revive him but this is just me and my delusions—)

Tbf there’s times where I stray “off script” just for the funsies and silliness of it all so maybe you can catch those moments too LOL

I saw ur other ask, so I assume u meant Hiraeth as MePad hahaha. Yesssss he does SUCH a good MePad. Perhaps we will bring him back one day….such a shame a good soul had to leave so soon ☹️☹️☹️
