#druck#skam druck#This post is about Axel being the worst#so I decided to rewatch this season and its wild that they frame Mia shutting down both a Black German student and Axel as feminism#specifically the fact that this scene is supposed to prove something bad of axel's character#also it’s fascinating that she says (in response to Axel) that it’s different having a German say that#which completely strips the Black student of his racial identity… which is qwhite Inchresting#AND the fact Amira’s (the Muslim characters) season was cut short by Mia and Axel’s love story#to quote much ado about nothing act ii seen iii ‘there’s a double meaning in that’#and to add salt to the wound we never got Ava centric season…#specifically bc of white fans being upset about her standing up to white feminist Mailin… which is just sooo *chefs kiss*#in this essay I will explore how the Zionism and Islamphobia and anti black sentiment are baked into the show since its origins#and how the narrative frames these things as okay due to White feminism#I will also touch on how colourism plays a role in who gets to be a main character and who doesn’t
