Complaining abt Suicide Squad yet again but the fact that they have Waller exposing the alien community to space racist attacks and talking abt how she got to her position through deceit and being a terrible person and stuff is just. Ahsfiwueh JUST SAY YOU DONT KNOW WALLER.

Anyways literally the 3rd mission of the Squad ever (and the first framed as smth Waller picked and not orders from above) was the Squad discrediting and stopping a rogue vigilante who was only arresting POC and funneling white people into white supremacy groups (of which he was the most prominent member) in SUICIDE SQUAD #4. and it's explicitly framed as this mission being personal for Waller that she's hiding from the government bc its illegal like. Guys. Please why are we having her incite (space bc comics) racist attacks now

Also the whole "Amanda got her position through deceit and being a terrible person" NO. she KEPT her position through being shitty and playing complicated political games!!! She wasn't always that way like there is a difference and it is IMPORTANT ppl PLEASEEEE. In Secret Origins #14 we learn Amanda's backstory and she used to be a normal, caring person! Like even after she entered into working in government and politics she wasn't automatically morally bankrupt like please people. She was originally given control of the Squad by Reagan (*sigh* 80s comics...) to distract and get rid of her because she was so successful at pushing progressive social policy in Congress. Acting like she's this static pillar of evil is such a waste of her character and so fucking uninteresting and disrespectful to her arc it drives me MAD.

Like I am NOT saying Waller is all sunshine and rainbows, she fucking SUCKS (said w love <3) but like there's a human being there. It's a progression, she has a character arc like please, DC, please!!! They've fucked up Waller so bad and made her so opaque and uninteresting she can't even be the protagonist of her own story for fucks sake!

Like I don't know how many times I have to scream it until DC hears me or remembers but WALLER IS THE MAIN CHARACTER OF SUICIDE SQUAD. ITS HER BOOK. yet right now she's a cutout to be used as the villain wherever the writers please. Even in her book we get none of her perspective really displayed, no exploration of her thoughts with any kind of understanding of the role she traditionally has played and was made to play in the story.

Yeah it makes me think about how Sabo left Ace and Luffy on his own accord at the end. Of course it was a last resort but he left them because he knew that this was the only way for them all to be free.

He left knowing that he would probably not see him until they were 17. Or maybe even never again.

He left them so that they could be safe. Because as long as long as he was with him, as far as he could see, hands would still try to claim him, resulting in the ones he loves getting hurt.

There was no winning for Sabo or any of them. As long as he tried delaying the inevitable, it just never would have happened.

He had to give up what he loved so he could keep it.

And then after he regains his memories, him thinking how much he’s changed. His claws might hurt the one he loves so dearly, even though at this point he doesnt even know him anymore. What if when Luffy finds out that he was alive, it only hurts him deeper. Knowing that there was someone who would have made a difference that day wasnt there. Reliving not only that day in the moment of reuniting, but the say he lost Sabo, too.

I dont find it strange that Sabo didnt try to reunite with Luffy until dressrosa. And in fact i think that reuniting with luffy is something he did as an absolute last resort. I think he truly didnt want to meet him that day at all.

In the anime alone, it doesnt much show it, but in the manga and the Episode of Sabo his hesitance and nerves are really clear to me. He takes a second before he starts walking to talk to luffy. His hand is clutched and shaking. He walks as slowly as he can. And also he only does it after he knows that Luffy cant get the fruit.

They both need that fruit safe. An heirloom of their precious brother, the only thing they have left that can life on from him.

If Luffy could’ve finished that tournament, im fairly certain Sabo would’ve never revealed himself.

I think he feels like he might hurt luffy if he did, but i also think that he didnt feel he deserved it. To reunite with Luffy after all that time. After all that happened.

Going back to the song, the lyrics

Even though it was Sabo who went sailing from the harbor, what he was doing was sever the rope from his connections with luffy and Ace so that they could grow and be free without worrying about being held back by him and the weight of his life keeping him suffocating at the bottom of the harbor he’s being drowned in.

If sabo had successfully left Goa that day, and he had reunited with Ace or Luffy somewhere down the line, i think he would act the same way he did in dressrosa that day. I think he would feel his baggage is too much, someone could be after him. And he wouldnt want to reunite. Especially after how he left them.

To me, that letter didnt read as a “i hope i see you again”, but a “goodbye forever”. Which i mean,,,, it was one, at least in Ace’s case, so … 🤷‍♀️ kill me

(actually i think either one is a fun and charming way to make full use of orvs setting while breaking the fourth wall a little bit, and i wish i saw more of this kinda thing in general. but ive literally never seen it done with a dokkaebi and i just think it would be cool!!)

like come on guys, theyre literally the storytellers!!! theyre the ones who create the sub scenarios, constellations only request them - thats like a built in nod to your audience, especially if youre doing something thats a popular fanfic trope. dokkaebi [author name] shows up and says "man that previous dokkaebi is slacking off, wheres the excitement!! i know exactly what this channel needs - this kind of development is really popular with the constellations lately etc etc" ding! [sub scenario - and there was only one bed]. you see my vision.

and its not like a new dokkaebi showing up with a different storytelling inclination is an unprecedented development - im not sure how/if it would work with biyoos channel but like. its fanfiction. put her in a situation so someone else has to step in, like what shing n shong did to bihyung for like half the novel, and itll be fine! .....admittedly im pretty rusty on the back half of the novel, maybe it happens to biyoo too and i just forgot, or maybe it really doesnt work with how her channel is set up...... either way i think its plausible enough though, plus its funny if kim dokja has gotten used to having control over the channel and now he has to deal with having no control over it while an absurd fanfic trope is happening to him lmfao

my main complaint is that SHE'S NOT DRESSED LIKE A FUCKING MAGICIAN IN IT!!!! COME ON!!!!! they chickened out on the full magician garb in this whole era. which is just so sad. the fishnet fingerless gloves are funny though i might steal that. but i think she is so funny when she's wearing the full magician costume. like call me shallow but her commitment to the bit is so important to me

and the dynamic created w their relationship to magic and stuff is really interesting. brainwormy for sure. it took me from "who the hell is this magician" to "DO PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT WONDERMAGIC????? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELLO???" in one comic. i have a LOT of thoughts about them like genuinely i think there's meat on the bone conceptually for wondermagic

but i think pretty much any time they appear together in general they're just Like That. whenever theyre both in a comic they have to be gay about it (what the fuck did she mean by this). i was losing my mind when i was catching up on DC/RWBY (ABHORRED. avoid if possible) and zatanna is immediately on her bullshit again. first of all im all for blorbo tagging, especially with greek characters and headcanons! love that shit! go nuts! buuuut just in case anyone actually intends to use this in writing: SAYING "MORO MOU" IS NOT THE SAME AS ACTUALLY CALLING YOUR PARTNER A MORON!

when you use it in that context it really does just mean "babe/baby," no one who uses it would actively be thinking about how the old etymology would mean it technically means moron. that's more of just a funny fact. like, when we call our partners baby in english, we're not thinking about how it can also mean someone who's overly sensitive.

no one in modern greek really says moro to mean dumb anymore. its sort of clunky and weird to say. youre more likely to say "hazo" (stupid) or ilithio (idiot). which are also mean, like, dont call your partner that!

however, if you are writing a greek speaking character and want an alternative, i simply must introduce you to "re" (pronounced like "reh" not "ree") ill explain under the cut

see, the word "moro" becomes "more" (moreh) when directed at someone. this eventually became shorted to "re" which is a word that doesnt quite have an english equivalent.

its usually used as a prefix, you put it before someones name when referring to them (it only works in second person). for example, "re kosta, where are you going?" < this implies that the question is somehwat rhetorical, you think kosta is an idiot who doesnt know where he's fucking going. or "re stephano, cut that out!" < stephano is an annoying dumbass, "re" is being used to emphasize this fact.

so typically adding the "re" prefix to someones name is an insult, a shorthand way to make your statement more insulting, and just sort of refer to people disrespectfully in general. however in a friendly context, it can also show closeness- its casual and lighthearted. it doesnt imply stupidity so much as silliness, and can even be seen as positive. this can just sort of depend on tone. an example of the latter would be "re kristina, how have you been?" < this implies a casual atmosphere and general excitement to see kristina, "re" reinforces closeness with kristina.

the difference is so slight but it's definitely there in the way its used. the tone changes the meaning. saying "re niko!" in an annoyed tone implies insult, while saying it in a positive tone implies friendliness. of course you do have to be careful with this- even in a friendly way, this level of Casual isn't something youd have with your boss or teacher. (people youre meant to talk to with the Respectful way of speaking, something english doesnt really have either)

so yeah if you want a Real authentic greek way to casually call your loved ones idiots, in an affectionate way, this would be how to do it! you can even drop the name all together and just call someone "re"- the name is implied. even just saying it in its own can be used to be like "dude." or "dude???" and It may sometimes be lengthened to "vre" for emphasis

anyway if you made it this far you must actually care about this kind of stuff, so let me give you some other terms of endearment you could use that are actually Nice: "agapi mou" (my love), "matia mou" or "matakia mou" (literally "my eyes" but more along the lines of "light of my eyes." the -aki suffix is a diminutive), and "kardia mou" or "kardoula mou" (my heart. -oula is another diminutive). these can be used for either romantic partners or children!

also the insult a greek character should use the most often is malaka. maliciously and negatively. its like how irish people say cunt or brittish people say wanker (in fact thats the literal translation). that word means a lot to us. and yes of course, you can totally say "re malaka!!!" and this could mean anything from "you stupid son of a bitch i'm going to murder you" to "my awesome close good friend, its so good to see you!"

Final Fantasy XIV Online (FFXIV) - i love so many of the characters from this game. its not hard, the game is designed to make you love them. they feel like real people, especially in the last two expansions which emphasized their relationships with each other and with the wol (aka the player character). its difficult to choose one favorite but if i have to id say its gotta be alisaie leveilleur. despite not being relevant to the main story until the second expansion, her character is so rich and compelling. shes just a girl who wants to understand why her beloved grandpa left her to save a bunch of strangers, and she also wants to find out who she is and become her own person out of her familys (and especially her brothers) shadow. she also likes violence and explosions and how can you not enjoy that in a girl. unlike a lot of people who like alisaie, i also love alphinaud, and i love the way they interact. alisaie is my preferred twin but only by a slim margin. you can blame the backwards ass way i played this game for the fact that i love alphinaud even in 2.0

Marvel Comics - obviously its loki laufeyson! name a bitch more iconic. canonically genderfluid since 2014. your doomed by the narrative fave. raised by a father and a society that hated them for who they were, forced into the role of a villain to juxtapose their brother who was the only person to ever believe they could be more, at least until he didnt. killed and ate and burned themselves over and over to become something new. literally broke free from the narrative to become their best self but still a morally dubious shithead trickster in any (well written) form. my absolute blorbo of all time, dm me for a reading list

Norse Mythology - loki laufeyson again lolol. name. a bitch. more. iconic. canonically genderfluid since the viking age. born from a forest fire after lightning struck a tree. canonically hot but in a fucked up and dangerous way. odin was like "whos this hot weirdo" and decided they were brothers. your ultimate doomed by the narrative baddie. prophesied to end the universe. the god of fucking around and finding out. there are so few verifiable facts about this bitch, he is a complete enigma even among the rest of norse mythology which is already so fractured and weird. we straight up dont know how, why, or even IF he was actually worshipped. hes the only god to not have a single village dedicated to him. there are, like, two or three runestones depicting him. snorri made him into a jesus figure in the eddas but he serves so much cunt that he is repeatedly misinterpreted as literal satan. your fave could never.

LegendLark/Dames and Dragons - this is another difficult one because the characters are all so great, but im giving it to laika because i have a funny story about it. my first listen through i was in the middle of the gray manacle arc when i started asking myself who my favorite was. i decided it was laika literally the episode before she leaves 🥹

Dungeons and Daddies - i feel like my favorite should be scary, as someone who was once a goth/emo teen girl. however im gonna have to give it to my boi normally lee oak-swallows-garcia, the perky peppy chipper cheery mixed up mascot who doesnt know who he is anymore. imagine knowing your parents are disappointed with you at like, 14. imagine inheriting a generational curse except its a literal eldritch curse that you cant do anything about. imagine connecting with the mind of an incomprehensible eldritch being that is killing your reality out of loneliness and fear and hatred and deciding to show kindness.

The Locked Tomb - probably an obvious pick but its gotta be gideon nav. shes your butch sword lesbian. shes your jock trapped in a science convention. shes your tragic unloved child. shes your doomed by the narrative/came back wrong double threat. shes everything to me.

Paranatural - im not actually current, unfortunately. ever since zack changed formats ive found it difficult to read. i understand why they decided to do it the new way, but my attention span is simply not long enough. eventually i will catch up probably maybe. that said, my favorite is of course max. i just love how sassy and exasperated he is. he literally didnt ask for any of this shit. like he just moved to a new town where he doesnt know anyone and suddenly theres ghosts and he has to join an organization to fight them and his bat has a monster inside of it and he almost gets run over by a train, how fucking exhausted must this kid be all the time

Hunter X Hunter - its the only anime on the list baybee. i thought about including others but none are super current and hxh is the one that i still feel strongly about. my fave from hxh is the one, the only, killua zoldyck. my son. my angel. my precious catboy murder child. a boy who was tortured by his own family and trained to not care about other people and who was so lonely he latched onto the first boy his age that hed ever met. he is so full of love and he would do anything for his best friend, including kill people, but to be fair he would also kill people for literally any other reason

The Wheel of Time - my most recent experience with wot was rereading the eye of the world in preparation for the amazon show, which was a huge letdown for me and a lot of fans of the books. my last experience with it before that was when i was, like, 12. as a kid my favorite character was egwene, and now my favorite is...still egwene. she is a strong, confident young woman who knows what she wants and doesnt shy away from going after it. shes very strong-willed and doesnt bend to the will of others, she is unrepentantly herself. she also reads very heavily as a lesbian despite being in a (rather annoying imo) het romance with the mc. i dont think this was intentional (given the aforementioned het romance) so i wouldnt call it coding but like. shes a young adult who eschews traditional female roles and aspires to be unmarried and spend her time with other women how ELSE am i supposed to read that

Homestuck - very much NOT a current fandom, but it defined a great deal of my life, so i feel like it should be included. my favorite for this one may be the most difficult to predict, or maybe not idk, but its kanaya maryam. i remember the first time i was reading, waiting for my patron troll to pop up, and it was her. at first i paid attention to her just for that, but i fell in love with her pretty fast. i have a thing for female characters who go through arcs of self discovery and learning to value themselves outside of the opinions of others. something about starting out thinking youre a prop for other people and ending as a whole ass person is so *chefs kiss* also shes sassy and wields a chainsaw which is badass. i personally think her arc fell flat and she was underutilized in the end, but shes hardly the only one that got overlooked tbfh

usum completely undermined the depth behind lillie and ESPECIALLY gladion's whole reason for being the way that they are. im gonna be focusing on gladion since thats my blorbo, i know him the best outta the two.

gladion often gets mistaken for being edgy and not much else. surface level? sure, hes dramatic and a bit rude. crucially, though, is that he really isnt if you take a look at him with a closer eye.

the whole reason why he has so much apparent bite for no apparent reason is because *hes literally on the run from his abusive parent*. hes a teenager who deeply cares about pokemon. when he found out about silvally, he couldnt let it continue suffering in the dark. he HAD to help it. and for that he had to run from the only home he had. he didnt even get to say goodbye to his little sister. hell i doubt he had any time to grab much in the form of pocket money or necessities.

his very strong love and compassion for the world around him is what led him to take such a colossal risk at an age where he couldnt have POSSIBLY seen the actions of his consequences, and hes clearly hurt by it. he built up walls around him in the form of a tough persona as a means of survival. plus, considering everything he had to go through, he wouldnt exactly be in a great place mentally. honestly, hes probably holding back a lot of his bite since, contrary to his initial appearance, he doesnt like people get hurt by what he says and does for not even doing anything themselves. hes just... scared. hes on the run for doing something completely selfless and justified, and he has pretty much nothing except team skull when he run into him.

AND YET, DESPITE ALL THAT, HE STILL GOES OUT OF HIS WAY TO TREAT HIS POKEMON THE BEST HE POSSIBLY CAN. DESPITE BUILDING THAT EMOTIONAL DIVIDE WITHIN HIMSELF, HE COULD NEVER STOP CARING HEAVILY FOR THINGS.

honestly him being snippy at the mc and haus probably a testament to him yknow being a teenager living alone having to sustain not only himself, but his pokemon as well. hes jaded to life at this point and already has to deal with team skulls antics on the daily. guys got more pressing things to worry about than a couple of kids who are annoyed at team skull grunts causing trouble.

AND ALL THAT. ALL THAT GETS FUCKING TOSSED ASIDE IN USUM. because now lusamine is chill and cool and normal actually hahaha!!

all of the nuance of gladions character that i just described is gone. his entire reason for being on the run? not really all that prevalent anymore, in USUM he pretty much bounces for teenager reasons. he BECOMES the more shallow caricature of edge that people tend to see him as. its not like his SM counterpart isnt entirely void of edge, like obviously the guys still a teenager who dresses Like That. He just now almost entirely lacks the background and depth his character had in the original games. he honestly becomes a parody of himself, and as someone who clearly holds gladion and his characterization close in my heart, its disappointing beyond belief.

hell, this doesnt even begin to touch into how USUM screws up a lot of the writing for lillie's trauma and later arc. you can criticize SM for a LOT of different reasons, but the aether foundation and especially the aether family are very well-written (less-so mohn, but to be fair hes pretty disconnected to the story once he gets eeby-deeby'd through the ultra-beast realm). the reason why i care about these damn kids so much is the fact that their trauma and how it shapes and shows in them is really well done. it makes me CARE for these characters, yknow?

so.. yeah. as cool as i think zeraoura is as a pokemon, both design-wise and concept-wise, it doesnt save USUM from being really disheartening to me as someone whos a very big fan of the original aether foundation plotline (as well as an enjoyer of the anime, as its kind of its own thing that isnt really either storylines? it has silly goofy lusamine, but still keeps elements of trauma and the darker themes of SM, largely through the use of Faba as a character, which i use a lot more in my own AU for the gen).

i wish we had just gotten the extra content within USUM without messing up the storyline so much (hell, i wouldve loved a bigger touch on the trial captains. instead of goofing up the aether foundation storyline which was already really good, they couldve touched on those characters who ACTUALLY needed more characterization within the games, like they did with the anime).

LOVE CONFESSIONS HUH??? especially from random folks. hoo boy. well, honestly i think he's VERY caught off guard that anyone would be his 'fan'. he very much only thinks of himself as 'some guy with a lot on his shoulders'. he understands his importance but not really like... how that importance gets around socially. so if someone just came up and tried to confess their love (especially feminine aligned folk) i think he'd literally just reply "why?????" LOL.

if masculine folk started doing it however he'd similiarly be like "why??" but also keep your voice down. stop it. "im not uh-- like that. i guess." he'd say, shooing them away. "i appreciate it but you gotta go, aight?" he's VERY odd about masculine folk doing it moreso than anything else. ESPECIALLY sylvari who are masculine and smaller than him that have short hair. he lives in a hell world created by his own talent.

so the short answer? doesnt get crushes and why anyone would crush on him. he doesn't percieve himself as anything attractive or special. he's just A Guy.

NOW. AURENE. my god thats a can of worms. initially the egg was conflicting for him. chosen by something like that? probably a fluke. was probably made for caithe. she is a pale tree firstborne and they're the big dogs. they know their dreams and their hunt. not marwyd. so whatever this is would PROBABLY be temporary.

however when aurene hatched, combined with the loss of trahearne. it was. something new for him.

to be honest aurene was one of the only things keeping him going mentally between LWS3 and PoF. he took being a dad VERY seriously and with so much love and care. he'd visit ALL the time. new toys. new food he made. he started coming up with lullabys on his banjo (which i know EXACTLY what song he sang. i use it in his playlist at the end. bc. you know). he really stepped up. though near the end his depression and trauma after all he went through really ended up getting to him. i would have a WHOLE thing about PoF marwyd bc that is a SPECIAL flavor of cowboy but i will not do that here.

anyways, near the end he will STILL father her like a baby. he still comes with new toys he invented. he will still cook her dinners. he still loves to play her lullaby on his banjo. at EoD i have a feeling that he's pretty sad. all his "kids" have grown up. they're adults with relationships, jobs, work, you name it. he's got an empty nest and now he just fills it with constant work. he's going back to keep helping elonia, or he's in cantha working on conceptualizing more ways to help dragon jade have an extended lifespan with yao. he's all work even when he's supposed to be vacationing or taking a break, but he's just sad he can't hold that little dragon in his arms anymore and it shows.

ok im just gonna give a summary of my opinion on the situation re ofmd and historical stede bonnet. not bc i think my opinion matters but just so ppl know and if anybody wants to unfollow they can

basically i think it was a shitty ignorant decision but it was likely made in good faith. im pretty sure what happened was that david jenkins thought "haha wouldnt it be cool if i named some characters after real pirates like a cute little reference" and just... didnt analyze that any further. like this is the guy who said he doesnt care about pirates and refused to look up when pinocchio was written. the producer read one sentence on wikipedia and closed it forever. knowing the shows approach to historical accuracy as a whole, he probably just went with his standard "who cares im not doing research" approach which. sometimes works! and in this case it very much doesnt! like im all for 1700s leather jackets but like maybe when it comes to fucking SLAVERY just think about it a little more before you decide its not relevant to the story so it doesnt matter?

my main concern is HOW DID NO ONE POINT THIS OUT TO HIM. the writers room is like. half poc if im not mistaken. and within the show itself racial issues are handled decently. so why did no one say "hey can we change the characters names?" bc thats literally it thats all it wouldve taken. best case scenario no one else thought to look it up. worst case scenario someone did point it out and got shut down. if something comes out that thats the case, then thats a whole different situation. but for now im leaning towards thinking that this was a snowball of laziness

and listen im very hesitant to declare ANY media "irredeemable" so i find it impossible to put a show where the main issue that the characters have insensitive names due to creator idiocy in that category. and as warranted as the criticism is... some of yall have no idea how to process gray areas. the show can be both progressive and problematic at the same time. bad things can be done with innocent intentions. and that goes for you too "we stan david jenkins he did nothing wrong shut up" crowd!!

but like its not really a fixable mistake bc like. its the characters names. how the fuck do you retcon that. you dont. i mainly think the best course of action is this. to the fandom: STOP FUCKING EQUATING THE CHARACTERS WITH THE HISTORICAL FIGURES. thats it!!! its very easy!!! just fucking separate reality from fiction as much as possible. dont even bring up the historical figures unless its to point out how awful they were. your blorbo isnt a slaveowner? cool stop fucking comparing him to one then

and for the show going forward? really the main thing is that david jenkins needs to apologize. if youre pissed about this, @ him on twitter. preferably politely bc no matter how justified it is pointed insults make ppls brains shut down from criticism. he really needs to understand that he fucked up on this one. i dont think hes a bad dude i think hes just an idiot with good intentions. ofc if he defends his decision or makes some passive aggressive apology this is all out the window. i dont know the dude, i cant say for sure whats up with him. but im leaning towards hanlons razor on this

there are also some little steps for the show to make. mainly straying even more from biography (which considering the way hes talking about it im 100% sure is going to happen to some extent, but the more the better). honestly just dont introduce any more characters with historical names unless theyre completely ~unproblematic~ which. idk if an unproblematic famous pirate actually existed but they can try. idk what was up with anne bonny

i got the good ending bc i was following a guide bc i Cannot stand full screan surprises n the guide was good but the one (1) thing it doesnt remind u to do daily is water Basils plants. so. im doing all of that again now

i love the fucking characters in the game theyre all so neat n alive. i keep wanting to say im attached to someone specific but im having a hard time picking favorites theyre all so Good

theres a lot like a Lot of instances where Kel is hinted at being the lesser sibling and just the least important out of his friend group and its only really stated in an obvious kinda way once n like. he seems totally fine most of the time and he doesnt seem down often or for long at all in unrelated moments but for these he doesnt seem to even acknowledge it. and of course the others dont seem to think of him as less important which is Good but does he like. have a problem with this. i wanna say hes hiding it but i dont Know bc hes fucking good at it. i might make a whole post on this later actually

seeing Hero cry hurt more than i thought it would and seeing him jump right back to smiling seconds later every time made it Worse. its the older sibling thing

one detail i really like is that while some of the scenes are meant to be funny to the audience, Hero's fear of spiders isnt usually made fun of (the only time i can remember is when Mari apparently snuck bugs into his desk to see his reaction lmao). otherwise hes taken seriously and the others try to push him to overcome it someday, not Now but its something he should work on himself. and the bit w Kel removing a spider from their room, all while saying what hes doing exactly and reassuring Hero that the spider was gone, was a sweet thing to see compared to all the other media where siblings would throw it at the other or something yknow its just nice

BUT. i will begin w nice little trivia things that are not upsetting <3 his fave food is beef jerky and he dislikes sweets! he rly doesnt like fighting in the kof tournaments (for good reason </3) hes got epic fire powers and hates sports!

THE ESSENTIAL K' (quick rundown on personality!)- hes a man of VERY few words and is very like solemn. he is the embodiment of 😐 and when u see him smile its like rare. he like rly struggles w social situations and a lot of his friends seem to have latched onto him instead of the other way around. hes like just. not super polite but he does care about his friends he just like?? isnt great at showing it. he is VERY jotaro kujo part 3 adjacent. fave fun fact about him is the end of i believe?? kof 99??? or maybe kof 2000. unsure. but maxima calls him dash-man. i think its fun <3 maxima is like his bestie because of circumstances (k' is like. very lore full and i dont wanna get TOO heavily into it for spoilers n stuff <3) and i just! i think its very swagtacular how theyre friends and found family. he like does have a kinda big found family w Whip and Kula Diamond (his sister figures) as well as Maxima! OK. now i like. wanna um. sure share info w u. so K' is the protagonist of the NESTS saga (which takes place over king of fighters 99-2001 in terms of game plot!) hes (kinda, youll see later) made to be a clone of Kyo (who was the previous protagonist) and like this causes a lot of problems bc he HATES being compared to him or fighting w him or even being involved in this tournament in general. but like his past is summed up kinda quickly as he was a normal kid and him and his sister Whip got kidnapped by this like. SUPER bad crime organization named NESTS and he got injected w Kyo's DNA and kinda had the killua hxh treatment of raised to be a weapon since he was a child. i say hes KIND OF a clone bc thats what he believes due to brainwashing. hes basically (along w Maxima) forced to join the KOF tournaments bc NESTS has control of him in a way. hes um. been thru a lot. hes my little bestie but like oh my god. he suffers constantly, but like, thru out the games he kinda like gets closer w both Maxima and Whip, and goes from finding Kula to be an annoying kid to someone he does genuinely care about and consider his best friend.
