I do wish I could get into a fandom that isn't me and the dozen people who also listen to this one audiodrama. However, since I spent the weekend listening to a playlist of global metal music, then accidentally stumbled into a near complete collection of Avon Fantasy Readers and Weird Tales, I suspect very little will change.
#I already went down a research wormhole about Margaret Brundage whose art adorns so many Weird Tales covers#yeah yeah hp lovecraft or whatever but she was from CHICAGO#also the 1934 edition of weird tales starts with an ad for a weird midwesterner and his splinter religion#and then follows up with more weird ads for the rosicrucians!!#AND THEN SHARES A LETTER DEFENDING THE SALACIOUS BRUNDAGE COVERS#SENT FROM A CCC CAMP!!!#it feels like a gift.#anyway.
