EU Transformers #13 spoilers under the cut

Honestly I didn't care much for this issue. That isn't to say that is bad, but I'm so invested in the main plot that this detour to learn about Starscream feels like whatever. Especially because it's missing half the story, EU!Starscream so far has been ans utterly unrepentant villian that squishes humans for fun, so how did the guy who loved his friends so much he joined the war to avenge one of them and would literally not crush an ant turned into his present self?? I'm looking forward to learn about that, but as of now I don't feel like I have any real insights on Starscream. And honestly, I LOVE the evil bastard that he is, so I wasn't exactly asking for sympathetic motivations, but we'll have to see what they're cooking.

His "I want them to see me" does indicate that his desire for recognition was already there. And him doing all that to get Omega Supreme's attention was really cute. Tho those last words from his friend felt like a forced way to give meaning to his name. But whatever.

That double spread of Omega Supreme was really cool. It worked very effectively with the "what are they talking about? Who is coming?" and turning the page to see that.

Honestly, I wish we could have learned more about how the war came to be.

Not the uttering of "American hero" here too PLEASE T-T At least the guy that says it doesn't seem to be nice. Also another thing about this issue is that it feels like it's setting Starscream to show up in the other series, but I'm not sure since I haven't read any of the G.I. Joe stuff after Duke and CoCo. Alas I should do that...

Big Night Out (Dedicated, Pre Planned Night)

Kanaal 40 (very cool, local vibe. good location, reasonably prices, trendy! normal music upstairs and a techno basement, so plenty of options)

SkateCafe (favourite big night out in Amsterdam. cheap drinks, very cool and fun crowd, just a bit of a commitment to get there and back {though this can add to the stories of your big night out}!)

NYX (great location, lgbtq+ club with great music and a welcoming atmosphere (: multiple floors so you’ll always find a vibe you’ll like + a small karaoke room! free entry on wednesdays) 

Escape (honourable mention because tourists love it and it can be fun tbh! expensive drinks so make sure you pre but good location and usually good music in a really cool building!)
