Sarah said that, “Nesta and Cassian would go to a private island or the Maldives where they would have some quality time alone” 😉☺️

Since the lovely Sarah J Maas said that Elain and Lucien had “tension, growth, and healing” to be found together— @amandapearls and I wanted a piece of art that really showed the tension between these two characters.

Ekilateral.art did a wonderful job, and nailed this concept flawlessly!

Thank you Kelly for this stunning artwork of Elain and Lucien. They look exactly how I imagined them in the books. Just beautiful artwork!

@elainarcheronweek Day Seven — Growth

This piece could satisfy a few different prompts, but I do see growth as the overarching theme. Elain is currently struggling to accept her new life as a fae and that has been reflected in conversations and other characters’ observations. Having her humanity torn from her was not only traumatic, but she lost both her fiance and the future that she had planned for them at the same time. A heart is a heavy burden to carry.

Elain’s journey in her book is going to be focused on inner healing—and on accepting herself. The pinnacle of being fae is the mating bond, as some fae wait their entire lifespans to find their other half. In Elain’s book, I see her accepting the mating bond with Lucien, and this artwork by my dear friend @/electra.rt is a moment years in the future where there are no wars, only peace, and Elain and Lucien can have a quiet morning with their family. A moment where Elain can reflect on her personal growth and her journey.

I want to thank @/electra.rt again for such a stunning piece of artwork! @amandapearls and I adore how she is able to convey emotions so perfectly in her art, and everything she produces never fails to make me emotional. I cannot wait for our next piece together, my friend 🤍

My friend @amandapearls and I have been holding onto this commission for months and are so excited to finally share it! We’ve always loved Nesta and Cassian’s banter. @amandapearls and I wanted a commission of Cassian and Nesta strolling along a bridge over the Sidra River in the Night Court. Cassian would be cracking jokes, and Nesta would be unable to contain her laughter. Cassian would, of course, feel cocky about making his mate laugh 😆
