the way that at the beginning of ds9, the prophets illustrate that trauma from the death of sisko's wife has trapped him in one loss-filled moment of time. and at the end of ds9, sisko will presumably now move through time at will, not even his own "death" able to seperate him from his second wife or other loved ones. not trapped in time any longer, nor trapping others in permanent grief of their loss of him, but now able to be with them at every moment of their lives
