How did the dadnoir idea come to you? Are you like me, who sees big, sometimes morally dubious scary men in media and immediately goes "yup that's a dad"?

After my first art piece with Ribbons and Aimilios w/ Dusknoir; something just kind of.. clicked? If that makes sense??? Like I put all 3 on them in one drawing and went “oh this couldve been SO much more.”

One thing lead to another as I drew more of the concept. To my surprise people LIKED IT(😭); And the more I squinted at the subtext ingame between those three, (mainly Dusknoir and Aimilios because his and Ribbons’ relationship is nonexistent in the game sadly BUT LET ME BE DELUSIONAL.) the more I loved exploring hcs/ideas, until I unironically ended up loving this whole concept to the point where my art block for the past 2 years got me drawing near DAILY AGAIN. I cannot explain to you how much they mean to me. It’s SOO fun to think about stuff with these three man.

ALSO FUCKING SAAAME. Big imposing brooding character accidentally becoming a dad is a trope I ADORE. And with Dusknoir??? Dude the depth/tragedy with hero and partner makes me LOSE IT.
