Some important things said that I found very fun or interesting :

Deft thinks that his teammates (Zeka especially) were rated way lower than he thought they were at

Zeka actually performed really well in scrims since the beginning of the season, it was only when on stage did he underperformed

Deft always had the mentality of having to beat his ex-teammates since SSB and EDG but after playing in EDG did it become emotionally exhausting for him to have that mindset

The other 4 players in 2020 DRX visited him at one point (not sure if this was during last year’s streams) at his parent’s house and to not break the COVID rules (4 people in a room) he got kicked out of his own room (lmao)

He does think all of his former teammates in 2020 DRX (Keria, Chovy, and Doran) deserved to be in the semi finals because he knows how good they are since he did play with them

Deft always said that his goal was never to win summer or spring but to achieve a performance where it can help him win worlds

“To put it simply – if I win six more games, I win worlds. I guess I can only describe it as – I’m so happy.” (🫠)

When asked what will make him truly happy, winning worlds ? Getting to semi finals ? He gives the most devastating reply, “For now, I just love the journey of it.”

No matter the results, if GenG wins he wants that team to win it all

And finally….“When I first met Keria, Keria would tell me night and day that he’ll be the one that stands by me and gives me the Worlds trophy. Then to face that same player, as opponents, at worlds finals…how fun would that be?”
