can you imagine her following frankie to the lab one day maybe during Watzie's migration, looking around at the mess, and just being the BEST, MOST HAPPIEST lab assistant ever??

like frankie's fumbling around for a tool they dropped somewhere a minute ago they think maybe right around when they got that new idea- and cleo doesn't know a wrench from a screwdriver BUUUUT she HAS arranged all the tools by size, shape, color, and how often frankie seems to need them! she's gleefully taking selfies with all the neatly sorted tools, puzzling over them as frankie cheerfully gives a really specific description of the one they need right now, handing it over with So Much Pride and frankie always takes a moment to smile at her for it and and and

cleo getting to do something that's not at aLLL connected to social networking or boosting her fame among the masses, no, it's just her getting nerdy about how the uh "drill bits" should be arranged, maybe her ideas are a little unusual at times but frankie thinks that's super fun and amazing!

AND IMAGINE FRANKIE EXTRA LOVING her odd comments and questions, she's like frankie's rubber duck and muse all wrapped into one asking "so how does the thing move the thingy?" and "aww, it kinda looks like a scarab!" and "ok. but what if! sparkles~"

cleo takes off her social filter, and it's impossible for frankie to stay stuck on a problem for more than a minute before cleo jogs them into a new way of thinking their brain bits are all zapping on overdrive and-

okay so maybe they drop stuff on their foot a few times getting distracted by cleo

cleo being so pretty and happy and perfect and Right There but the stuff only falls on their metal foot half the time and it's Worth It anyway

clawdeen and drac drop by with drinks like usual, but they just stand in the doorway for a while, trying to understand What The Heck Is Happening as frankie and cleo have like five different conversations at once about what kind of eye-liner to etch on the robot and whether it'd be easier to fix the code or just make tiny little controls and have cleo's beetle babies pilot it like a mecha

Cleo helping Frankie out with social cues they haven’t come across yet because once upon a time she was a freshly embalmed mummy brought to life and she still can’t really read a room but she’s trying and she knows they are too so she just teaches them the popular response to key phrases in social situations and then completely tears down the entire lesson because Frankie should get to speak their many combined minds and decide for themselves outside of social rules and boundaries
