The Snezhnayan understood where Aibreann was coming from, but it was also once again supporting her thoughts on how no one could know exactly who she was now. The fact that it was said that she wasn’t the type of person to enjoy theater only proved how little the other knew about her, but the same could be said about how Sokolova was asking from the other. It wasn’t like she was never interested, if anything she was performing in Snezhnaya when she was a kid quite often, even got to perform before the Tsaritsa herself and those who stood by her side at that time. The ice skating, the songs, the dances, the rituals, the greetings, everything. Her family knew she was a talented girl despite her isolated state of mind and her seeing the world quite differently compared to others. 

“It’s because of my youngest brother,” Zarina didn’t look up at the other as she turned the page in her book while answering the question. It won’t do her good or bad if she were to speak about her family yet it could be noticed how warm and tender her voice became as she spoke of her family. The memory of the youngest of Sokolovs echoed in her mind, his bright smiles and his small hands reaching out to her as she picked him up to swirl him around like their mother used to do. She became the mother to him, she had to become an adult much earlier than anyone. Even if Victor was helping, he had to work since he was young, and relying on their relatives from other parts of Snezhnaya was not possible for them at that time. “He liked it when I was singing and dancing. I helped kids learn certain dances in Snezhnaya when I was younger, he was also learning how to dance to show off in the town for the festival. It was very cute back then. He heard how I performed when I was young and said it was amazing. Both of my brothers knew I love music and acting, so they proposed for me to start the theater back in our region. Sadly, the unfortunate circumstances happened.” 

Specifically, her inability to bring her youngest brother out of Snezhanaya early enough to not let him think that he needed to do anything outside of his kid-capabilities to protect them. They would’ve been fine. Aleksey was supposed to move to Mondstadt or Fontaine or any other region that was not their homeland, even if she loved the views and the snow and the weather and the challenges presented there. She never regretted living there and going through all the hardships. Her one and only regret was not bringing Aleksey out of that place to send him to her family members in another place in Tevyat. 

“That’s why he’s not here. I moved after he passed away. I decided that a theater would be a way for me to remember. This is why I joined Miss Serebro’s theater. She said I might take over when she decided to pass it on to someone else,” Zarina was not going to tell her anything about the truth behind her actions and what exactly happened. It was enough. The only information she’d have would be her story. It wasn’t a lie but it wasn’t the full truth either. She did add those words to make her story sound more emotional, even though there were far too many layers there. “I love music, Aibreann. It makes me think of soothing days when I was cradling my youngest brother, I made sure he knew I was there. Dancing, singing, acting - all of that was my childhood. That’s why I’m working for the theater. Well, also being the bodyguard of Miss Serebro, but I wanted to do something I enjoyed.” Lies sprinkled atop of the truth, mixing in so seamlessly that it was impossible to know what exactly was the lie that she spoke.

Rionach is the fourth and final daughter of Máel Dúin Labbree and the third sister of Aibreann. Unexperienced in combat but wanting to fight to protect her land's history. Her power is not external but internal. She has sharper senses and is able to focus her sight on targets. That made Aibreann decide to make her train using bows and arrows. When the day finally came, Aibreann let Rionach tag along into battle. However, she got careless and revealed her position to the Romans. A few set out to kill her and when a blade arced towards her neck, Clodagh cut them up without hesitation. Since then, Aibreann trained Rionach with both bow and sword. She trailed with Aibreann into battle until Aibreann's capture. Rionach's fate is unknown.

This wasn’t what she expected when she returned to her room after rounds. Well, neither was summoning Connla by accident and becoming a Master while working in the wards was another unexpected happening. Trying to keep her thoughts more in check, her face was clearly giving her away with how red they were becoming. Finding it slightly harder than it should with normal breathing tactics with him this close, and that grin-!! 

Speaking their native language, her tone sounds forced as she attempts to calm herself.

Yes! I can def see this pair happening. Aibreann, though not a fan of the Fatui, would be able to push past her distaste to get to know Tartaglia. Then again, she’s seen the carnage they, as a group, can do as she’s come to bury many. She’d come to like him, and though there are parts she doesn’t like, she won’t force a change.  Just as she expect the same of Childe. 

Lots of ‘if you don’t stop I’m gonna hit you’ ‘is that a challenge?’ ‘Childe--’ will occur. She has a thing for guys with fight boners apparently and I cry jawkelgjaw

Tbh I think they’d be away from each other for quite a bit, as Aibreann’s job requires her to travel a lot, being a merc and all. Not quite with the Adventuring Guild, though they’ve tried to hire her, but taking up requests her and there when she can.

Yes, she owns each color of the Miniors and each has its own nerdy name:

Red: Panstarrs 

Orange: Halley

Yellow: Gibbs

Green: Ikeya-Seki (Seki for short)

Blue: Kowal

Indigo: Atlas

Violet: Hale-Bopp (Or Boppy for short)

Black (not listed): Swan

These are all names of comets that have been observed throughout history. 

Even with that said, they are also called (collectively) ‘Mini’, their color, or whatever Bri ends up yelling out as they use Swift on her. While not on her team, one or more of them usually tags along if she’s going to do fieldwork, just like her Yamper does.

experience / how  long  ( months / years ? ): I’ve been at this, across all platforms, for 13-16 years. Truly, I’ve lost track since it’s been so long.

best  experience: Being a part of, and later helping run, @reaperreapergame​. I miss my folks from there, and all of the excitement we went through. Sure, it was hard, but it was hella fun at the same time! (Only reason it was hard is because we had two weeks, and really no one slept during that time. Even as a mod later on, though we were on shifts, we barely slept).

I’m hoping to do the same with another event I’m taking part in, and bring back some of that excitement factor and being a part of a community. Though with no short-term time limit ahaaaaa.

                  Happy New Years, my fellow nerds!

2021 has been one of those years there you wish you got iseki’d into another world, eh? It’s been a ride - both for better in some aspects, to worse in others. For me, it was one of the most stressful and, I’ll be frank, worst years due to some private matters that I won’t go into.  

I normally try to keep these messages uplifting and upbeat, but --- I think it’s safe to say that we’re all very, very tired. We’ve gone through so much, and yet here we are -- kicking and screaming (for a variety of reasons). You survived a few years that have been a roller coaster. Unsure of what’s going to happen, unsure of what each day is going to be like. I know for a lot of you it’s been a shit year, too.

You’re here. You made it to the end of another year.

You’re strong and you’re going to get through 2022. 

I’ll leave you with this as we begin our adventure; A new quest to embark on: One day at a time; Always take it one day at a time. The next will be better, so long as you make it so. Don’t underestimate the power of putting one foot in front of the other.
