I've yet to encounter one you can't say no to... though I agree wholeheartedly and furiously with the original sentiment - even adobe has one it keeps wanting me to use in the PDF viewer?? Mofo, I'm looking at a cross-stitch pattern, I do not need your AI bothering me.

Clippy was the only companion I ever liked, but I suppose he was the herald of darker days to come; a dark portent on the horizon, asking if you need any assistance with basic tasks.
