nothing matters to me the way suntan does. it's such a healthy and sweet relationship like fuck im gonna go CRAZY

kel never gave up on sunny EVER FOR THOSE THREE ENTIRE YEARS and when sunny finally manages to leave his house again (peep how kel knocking every time he was free was a reason as to why he found the strength to leave btw), kel is right there taking him places, talking with him and engaging with him (but not pressuring him to respond verbally!), being supportive, being kind and funny, just generally letting sunny knows he cares about him and he knows he's changed but that doesn't mean he'll stop caring about him bc of those changes

meanwhile sunny is like the only person we canonically can confirm kel feels comfortable talking about his less-than-happy feelings with. biggest example is the graveyard scene in which kel talks about when hero screamed at him. sunny basically reminds kel it's not ike a SIN to have negative feelings and he doesnt need to be happy all the time and he deserves support too. and SUNNY PROVIDES THAT SUPPORT!!! sunny always listens to kel and fuck dude that's all kel wants. sunny is just so good and he's patient with kel and even though kel is very high energy in contrast to sunny's low, sunny never asks him to tone it down he just always accepts kel as his full self and it makes me weep. sunny doesn't call him annoying or loud or Too Much kel is just right for sunny andndnjdjndkjdjdkn AND...NNAD Isnkskj;d;jkndkj;kjK;JSNNK;

please in addition to this theyre also so silly funny they are the fucking guys EVER i love them theyre crazy. couples that dumpster dive together stay together <3

fuck theyre just so supportive of each other in their own ways and it drives me fucking mad. i adore them i adore them i adore them. truly cat boy and dog boy solidarity. im gonna cry literally i lvoe rhem i lvoe them they both have therapy on fridays and they go to get dinner after their individual sessions each time. sunny usually pays but when kel remembers his money he rlly treats sunny. anyway

no but i admittedly am not super deep in the omori fandom so i havent seen all the crooks and crannies BUT i can say the majority of suntan shippers seem to be absolute geniuses and i am so happy. this may be bc suntan shippers have to understand kel to get the ship which means they're p literate and can Read and thus are accurate to the characters for the most part. god bless. i am so glad we all can agree sunny and kel. thank you all so very much for the sweetness and the comedy and the dash of angst. the only reason i healed from aftermath of playing omori fr /j
