Important discovery for folks with addiction to/problems with alcohol and/or gambling!

I recently discovered Ads Settings for Google, which as I'm sure many people know, Google is largely responsible for most ads you'll see on the internet.

By going to adssettings dot google dot com, you'll be able to see everything Google knows or has inferred about you.

But that's not all!

If you scroll allllll the way down to the bottom, you'll see a category called "Ad Categories On Youtube." Here, you're able to reduce the amount of ads you see on YouTube about gambling and/or alcohol.

For many addicts/people with addiction, seeing what many people consider common activities everywhere you go can be triggering. Being able to turn off or reduce that source of stress from even one source can be incredibly helpful for recovery.

I wish all addicts/ppl with addictions and people in recovery a wonderful day, and I would appreciate if folks could reblog to get the word out, but you by no means are required to do so.
