Célia Martin and Gabriela Jílková will share a car in ADAC GT4 Germany this season. They'll be racing for Prosport Racing in the German series. Gabriela has already thoroughly proven herself in ADAC GT4 Germany, GT4 European Series and GT Winter Series, where she won the overall title in 2021. The two already had a taste at being teammates this year during the GT Winter Series season. They took several podiums and even a win.

DTM'in Diğer Motor Sporları Yarışlarından Nasıl Farkları Var?

Ayhancan Güven'in yer aldığı DTM serisi ile diğer yarış serileri arasındaki farkları merak ediyor musun?

Motor sporları hayranlarının takip edebileceği sayısız yarış serisi bulunuyor. Bunları farklı başlıklar altında kategorize etmek mümkün ki en başta dört teker ve iki teker ayrımı yapılabilir. Otomobilleri ifade eden dört teker grubunun en popüler üyesi elbette ki açık teker kategorisindeki Formula 1. Bu yazıda ise Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters’ı, yani DTM’i diğerlerinden ayıran temel özellikleri bulacaksın.

Bunun nedeni de -az önce belirttiğimiz üzere- F1’in açık teker (open wheel) bir seri olması ki bu kategoride Formula 2, Formula 3, Formula E ve IndyCar gibi seriler yer alıyor. DTM’i bir diğer popüler seri WRC’den (Dünya Ralli Şampiyonası) ayıran başlıca detay da yarışların halka açık yollar yerine pistlerde koşuluyor olması. Bu sezon Ayhancan Güven’in yarışacağı DTM’in F1 ve WRC ile hemen hemen hiçbir benzerliği olmasa da benzerlik gösterdiği yarış serileri de bulunuyor. Bunun nedeni ise DTM’de yer alan GT3 otomobillerinin birçok seride kullanılıyor olması. Ayhancan Güven’in önceki sezonlarda yer aldığı ADAC GT Masters, GT World Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup ve Porsche Supercup serilerinde de GT3 otomobilleri yer alıyordu.

DTM ile ADAC GT Masters arasındaki farklardan biri, DTM’de her otomobili tek bir pilotun kullanıyor olması. ADAC GT Masters’ta Ayhancan Güven otomobilini Christian Engelhart ile paylaşıyor ve yarışın ortalarına doğru yapılan pit stop’ta pilot değişimi yapılıyordu. Bu sezon Ayhancan Güven’in yer alacağı bir diğer seri GT World Challenge. 2011’den beri koşulan serinin başlangıcında GT3 ve GT4 otomobilleri boy gösteriyordu ancak 2012’de GT4 otomobilleri seriden çıkarıldı. Bu noktada DTM ile GT World Challenge çok daha benzer hale gelse de DTM’de sadece profesyonel pilotlar yer alırken, GT World Challenge’ın amatör pilotlara da yer veren Pro-Am kategorisi bulunmakta.

Porsche Runs Cayman GT4 Clubsport as Course Car

Fans are in for a real treat at the ADAC Rallye Deutschland contested from 16-19 August: A very special course car, the Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, will run ahead of the starter field. For Porsche, the entry of a concept study for the FIA R-GT category based on the near-production GT circuit race car is a critical test under real conditions. Whether this turns into a rally project for customers with a similar vehicle in the medium term will be decided at a later stage.

Driving the vehicle is Porsche works driver Romain Dumas (France), who is considered one of the best all-rounders in the motor racing. For the last 12 years, the Le Mans winner has contested rallies around the world with his own team. Dumas has also won the legendary Pikes Peak hill-climb four times and holds the course record there. The factory drivers Richard Lietz (Austria) and Timo Bernhard (Germany) are also seasoned rally drivers and were involved in the test program with the Cayman GT4 Clubsport concept rally car.

The Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, which has been campaigned at clubsport level worldwide since the 2016 season, is powered by a 283 kW (385 hp) 3.8-liter flat-six engine. The mid-mounted engine drives the rear wheels. The vehicle features a Porsche dual clutch transmission (PDK) with shift paddles on the steering wheel. For rallying, full underbody protection has been fitted. An energy-absorbing foam element has also been mounted in the doors.
