Wilbur rushed up to the top of the wall quickly, hands burned by the vines and how often he seemed to slip when trying to climb them. He poked his head over the top, heaving himself over it desperately, and he looked up.

His tired eyes lit up when he saw Phil. He gave himself naught to catch his breath, pushing himself up and wrapping his arms around his father- (his father-…? No, it wasn’t. Why did he-) around his friend, relieved. “Phil!” He said, pushing back to look him in the eyes with the brightest smile known to man. - @worldsleastrealman

Phil clearly wasn't expecting Wilbur's sudden appearance. His wings fluffed up heavily in surprise but he quickly relaxed upon seeing Wilbur's smile.
