There’s a beat of silence, and the crowd erupts. He can make out the yells of Axel and Joshua, since they’re screaming into those shitty megaphones. Obstagoon yowls. Piers is silent. He catches Giacomo’s eyes and gives him a nod. He did well. He hopes he realizes that. 

Then he looks up, forward, head high, and drops his mic. 

And the crowd cheers his name.
