i will be honest this was very very hard for my little anxious brain BUT... i think these are all good to share :’D i think. i hope! one of these is ... quite old in the sense that I used to write with dark gray paper & white words because it helped my ADHD for a minute - but !!! all parts that I’m at least happy with! ... they may or may not all involve the same duo. I just noticed that.

Image One: 

After all, who checks their chandelier for an assassin? A smirk crossed his face as he held back a snicker, tucking the vial back into his pocket for safe keeping. There was other movement in the building, but he’d been kept in the dark on what the rest of the team was doing. “Don’t worry about it,” Talia had told him quite sternly, “Just focus on Grimwald.”

So that’s what he was doing. Focusing on Grimwald, sitting in the rich man’s chandelier just to poison his drink and slip out later. It was an all-day operation for that reason, but Talia had insisted that it was the only surefire way to get him. There was no in-and-out option for this. It had to be definitive, and unavoidable. And that’s why their best were on the case.

His ears shot up as the door creaked open, a quiet muttering echoing throughout the room. Heavy steps cleared the room quickly, a louder bang nearly jolting the hiding asura. Balancing his weight carefully, he looked past the hanging crystals below him, first taking note of the new cup of wine. Just as planned, he grinned, eyes shifting over to the rest of the desk.

A large black book laid across it, lines filled in like a ledger. Liifa squinted, trying to make out the words, but between the distance and the handwriting, it was nearly impossible.

Movement parallel to him caught his attention, causing the chandelier to subtly shift as he snapped his eyes up. Nothing was near him. He scanned the area, seeing nothing else out of the ordinary as he glanced back down. Maybe I’ve just been sitting here too long.

Image Two: 

She never could figure out why she needed to run, to hide. She couldn’t figure out why she needed to hide from them. To stay in sight but out of reach.

Maybe if nothing could touch her, nothing could hurt her. But maybe she was just dying for something she could touch. How fragile she was, to push everything away but crave for something to stay.

She hadn’t quite realized that she was being held, or that someone was rubbing her back. She wasn’t entirely aware enough to process that she was being comforted. She still wouldn’t let herself feel it.

If she felt it, she would break.

She couldn’t break.

Not again.

Flower shook her head with a gentle sigh, curious eyes landing on the Binding.

“I don’t suppose you feel talkative?”

Liifa’s ears flicked up, just as Ipos answered his unspoken question from below. [She talks to us all the time. Like she has no other friends. It’s pathetic, really.] They chuckled, their tail dusting the floor behind them.

The asura rested his ears, tilting his head in thought. “So, she’s used to hearing you talk to her?”

[She is.] Maybe that gave him an opening. He may have to work with her eventually, after all.

Liifa set his journal and pen down on the floor, trying to think about how to approach the situation. As he thought, Flower sighed, moving her satchel to the side as she sat on the bed and glanced around the room again. He watched as something curled over her legs, stark white glinting in the moonlight from the window. She’d had no reaction, so it was definitely something that she was well aware of. He tilted his head, squinting as he tried to make sense of it in the dim light. It gently shifted, much like a cat’s tail…

{Is that a bone tail?} His ears twitched as he realized his mistake. Fuck.

The sylvari’s ears twitched up as she looked at the Binding, curiosity clear in her faded turquoise eyes. “Um, yes?” She paused, tilting her head, “Your voice is new.”
