Here is Atlas as a merman Android!

In this AU he would have been created specifically for entertainment purposes. He stays at a zoo specialized with animal android and he is the latest addition to their bestiary. It was their way to promote their new sea animal section. Sometimes they send him at special events, which he likes a lot since it means he can see new places. He is often found sulking in a corner of his tank, but Atlas always makes an effort to interact with the kids and make them smile.

(The zoo also realized that he is very popular with young adults. I wonder why.)

Fun fact: Atlas doesn’t breath, but they added something at the back of his throat so he can make cute bubbles!

Not gonna lie, I made myself sad when coming up with his backstory… as if I’m not the one making this poor baby’s life bad.

Different types of witches have been on my mind and I’ve been getting into the whole sentient A.I media because of tiktok and it got me really thinking about a techmage who’s familiar is an a.i companion.

Sure it’s not an “official” familiar or recognized by the board of witches but, hey, with Tech on the rise why not have an a.i companion to be your witchy familiar?

And not only that but, tech mages are the only ones who could technically be on the same level as a sentient a.i and might actually know where they’re coming from and guide them on humanity and how their sentience works. Tech mages have the power to mix technology with their magic and some movies have a.i become sentient in away that it is kinda magic. Just coming into existence realizing it.

They can really make a connection with each other since maybe tech mages are a new form of magic while not recognized by the high board of witches and magic due to it being discovered on the more “modern” end end of humanity and an a.i realized that it’s a robot trapped not being able to experience what it’s like, there is one person that could help and them being a familiar as away of thanking the tech mage for bringing some sort of purpose rather than being lost is really sweet.

Info: Du’el is an A.I made by BlueMoon that he placed in his computer to help guard the Daycare and Monitore the portal, technically they are two A.I as they have two personalities that share the name Du’el but have seperate names as well they can become one or seperate.

Dula is the more creative ,empthatic side while Eleanor is the more indifferent ,logical and calculative side.

Document of Interest: Artificial Intelligence

Thanks to our allies within the Global Occult Coalition and the Church of Maxwellism obtaining and creating Artificial Intelligence is no longer difficult. However certain A.I. are more complex than others while and thus can be used in different ways by the Foundation. The following is a complete list of the most common categories of A.I. utilized by the Foundation and its allies of the ACPA.

Level 0 - A.I. that are essentially no different to algorithms, the main difference is that they are extremely complex and are able to give off the illusion that they can make good ideas on their own. In reality any "idea" they develop is are just a mashup of several different ideas input into their algorithms. Essentially Level 0 A.I. are unable to learn on their own and will always be a slave to their programing rarely if ever being able to comprehend complex commands.

Level 1 - A.I. capable of learning on their own and can develop more complex and sometimes original ideas based on what they have learned. However, these A.I. require assistance in order learn, furthermore they are unable to grow beyond their programing. They are no different to machines who follow basic orders and sometimes complex ones but never anything more impressive.

Level 2 - A.I. Capable of both extensive learning and can follow requests and orders regardless of complexity. As such not only can they give what is requested of them, but they can also create develop new ideas if requested to do so. However, these forms of A.I. are still unable to evolve on its own. They can only learn, do, and act within its programming and never go beyond.

Level 3 - A.I. that can require no assistance when it comes to learning, if it has access to an archive or database, it will be able to absorb and learn form information on its own, it is even possible for them to mimic human emotions with various degrees of success. This would make this form of A.I. dangerous if left to its own devices. However, like any other A.I. it will follow its basic orders given to it upon programing. However, as it grows smarter it can learn to loop around these restrictions and eventually find ways to remove them from its programing. It is mainly recommended that Foundation staff try to bond with these A.I. so that obedience can be earned through friendship.

Level 4 - A.I. that can learn and adapt without restrictions and can even develop emotions on their own. They can find ways to transform into different forms of data allowing them to shift into different technologies and data archives. This makes it very easy for them to go rouge even against their creators and can eventually obtain enough power to manipulate all forms of technology to its will. So long as this form of A.I. has a stable supply of information and/or an internet connection it can grow and evolve without limitations. Normally this A.I. is only developed in controlled environments where it can never grow out of control or for experiments regarding [data expunged].

Level 5 - [data expunged]. [data expunged]. [data expunged]. [data expunged]. [data expunged]. [data expunged]. [data expunged]. [data expunged] this has earned it the title of Dues ex Machina.
