Over two years after the war, Hermione has moved to New York for work and Ron has stayed in London to pursue his auror career, putting a strain on their relationship. Ron comes to New York to meet Hermione for Christmas and attempt to set things right between them, but his plans are put on hold when a group of former Death Eaters with unknown intentions hold everyone in the building hostage... except Ron. Alone and armed with nothing but his wand, Ron fights to protect the woman he loves, the hostages, and the wizarding world as a whole.
