The pen in his right hand instantly freezes solid and essentially becomes an ice pick, and Ochako jumps in her chair. Shouto slowly puts the pen in his left hand to thaw it, and then he puts it down on the table so as to not set it on fire, too. He's really glad that the two of them are the last people in the library right now, or else they might have run the risk of getting kicked out what with Shouto unintentionally creating weapons and potentially destroying other things if he can't control himself fast enough.
“What makes you ask that?”
Shouto is in love with Izuku. Ochako is in love with Izuku, too. Despite this, they promise to not let their feelings ruin their friendship as they try to come up with ways to confess.

Shouto is invited to a high school reunion put together by Mina and Ochako. Normally, it would've been fine and Shouto wouldn't mind going. But reality is that Shouto and Izuku broke up almost five years ago, so when he hears that Izuku is going to attend the reunion, Shouto doesn't want to go. But Mina won't take no for an answer, so Shouto is forced to confront his past whilst not daring to hope that he and Izuku can get back together.
