Sunlight filtered through the windows casting a glow over some parts of the room. It felt kinda homey for a minute. Just a minute though because the mood quickly changed.

A bright light crossed his eyes for a second before it was gone. He sat up straight and focused his sight out the window. He saw something. As quick as it was, his attention was already grabbed.

It's loud. Everyone is talking. Some are screaming over others trying to make their voice heard. Nobody is paying close enough attention to him to notice him moving away from the table and closer to the windows.

“That doesn't look good.” Midoriya sent a nervous look towards Shouto. The cracks spread further into the room and a slight rumbling sound shaked the building. “Let's get out of here, yeah?” Shouto nodded in response and they made their way towards the stairs. The rumbling got louder and a chunk of the floor collapsed, blocking their escape. “Fuck.” Shouto turned around to look at Midoriya, eyes wide. Yes, the building was collapsing around them but that was the first time Shouto heard Midoriya curse. He didn't get to put much thought in it as the rest of the ceiling caved in, showering torrents of metal and concrete on top of them. ——— Or: in the middle of a in-school activity, a building collapsed on top of Izuku and Shouto. That's not really all that surprising, but this incident does bring back some childhood trauma for Shouto that he really would rather leave in the past. Not that he gets the choice though, Izuku would never leave that kinda rock unturned.
