When Katsuki stepped back, he almost felt like he could feel the fire, and half expected his hand to come away blistered from where it had pressed against the brick, fingertips scattering embers and the torn flecks of pages.

Then, out of the darkness rose the sound of sirens.

Followed by flashing lights.

“Fuck,” Katsuki cursed. The police had been on his ass for the last couple of months, ever since he tagged their precinct downtown. Or maybe it was the portrait of Toshinori he'd done on the side of City Hall? Whatever it was, Katsuki had managed to piss ‘em off enough that he couldn't fucking do shit without hearing those damn sirens.

Twice now, Katsuki's world had been turned upside down. The first time was when his parents disappeared two years ago leaving behind a USB full of encrypted files. The second time, was when he met Kirishima Eijirou, a stranger with eyes like his, who laughed like he breathed; as if the whole world would end if he stopped.
