i just know that if i relaxed and did not care about the quality of a doodle i would improve much faster. Regrettably-
#ghosts howling#A lot of artists have absolutely beautiful anatomy with great weight and dynamic posing that inspires me a lot#But to be kinda loose like that and play around with it you gotta let go yknow? Im not very good at that. Pensive#Sighhh i feel like doodling around but i dont wanna get out of bed and on my pc… thinking really hard about drawing bodies#Sure i could go on procreate but my finger is different from my tablet pen it doesnt feel great#Ive been going back to drawing with guide lines a lot more lately i should go back to training myself without and seeing how it#Affects my art. I dont think with or without necessarily makes your art better or worse but sticking to rigid guidelines can#Take away things like exaggeration or flow. For me at least. And dynamic posing is already something im not very good at#If i had a stat sheet over my years of being an artist itd look like i pooled all my points into anatomy. Ive neglected a lot of stuff#I just really enjoy bodies. Im still not very good at them but i really enjoy drawing them nonetheless :) and i like it when it looks good#So i focus a lot on perfecting bodies before perfecting… anything else. Kind of bad for me HAHA but i just have that kind of mindset#Like completing every quest in an area before going to the next. Yes this will bite me in the ass like its doing now
